I booked this restaraunt a few weeks prior to my visit, for three people. Nearer the time I emailed to increase to five persons, I received emailed confirmation. The evening of our visit we turned up to be informed that they had no reservation, eventually they found my booking but for three. I again showed my displeasure and as it was a celebration meal was not happy. I pointed out there were two long unoccupied tables empty but was informed they were already booked.The manager suggested we wait for half an hour and have a drink in the bar. Which we and five minutes later we were asked to take our seats at the table. Seemingly they had found my booking. The table service left a lot to be desired, we had to ask for basic things I.e. Cruet, water etc. On ordering drinks my friend was asked for her glass as they had run out of carafe bottles?? Eventually we got our meals and to be honest the food was superb. So much so that the chef was called to be congratulated.
The manager, booking and table service would not be a recommendation but the food is definitely. It is a pity front of house lets this talented chefs abilities down.
