After an easy ride prepping the legs for Ride London the next day i decided to pop into Pretorius for a coffee before heading home. Ive been aware of the shop for a while mainly due to friends who are regular customers and from their recent appearance in a Strava video, but this was my first visit. I stayed for a couple of coffees and some great cycle related chat and had a good look at their beautiful bikes. Im considering signing up for one of their weekend club rides in the coming weeks and will definitely be back again soon. Would recommend if you are on the look out for a new bike and want something different as their own-brand Ti frames are amazing and if you just fancy a coffee then give it a shot too!
Excellent road-bike store, workshop and coffee shop under the arches off Kingsland Road. Lovely own-brand titanium frames, top quality and style cycling kit, bike fitting, servicing, advice, basically everything you need to ride, train and race. They also run regular rides on Saturdays and Wednesdays for intermediate to expert riders, and a couple of training trips to the Black Forest each year. Drop in and say hello!
If you have Central London at your trip list and you love racing bikes, give them ring and visit them! Growing company with plenty of amazing ideas, how your dream racing bike should looks like. I highly recommend their own titanium bikes! Stunning!
Highly recommend Pretorius bikes if you are looking to build, fix or service your bike. They offer excellent expertise and a high quality service. Also a great place to watch a race, have a coffee, bear or a post ride pizza. Superb!
Amazing coffee / bike workshop. Friendly staff who arrange great bike rides on Satudays and Sundays as well as make great tasting coffee and snacks. Perfect place to relax at lunch time watching the Tour de France on a big screen.
If you are in the market for a high-end road bike then you would be crazy not to drop by for a chat at Pretorius before making your mind up. After wondering in last saturday morning for a look, i was blown away by the custom made titanium bikes theses guys offer! Absolute must see!
Having recently visited this local bike shop I have to say I was very impressed by their whole operation. Great mechanics and experienced riders who know what they're talking about. Good coffee too!
This was a great bike shop, where you could get measured up for a custom frame, and also have a decent coffee.
Pretorius are knowledgeable, experienced, professional and really friendly. I wouldn't take my bike anywhere else.
The Pretorius Germany training camp is brilliant...Well organised... Big mountains... Fast Sprints... Wines of the Alsace!
