We were staying within walking distance to BLB so we walked over looking for a local kit or jersey. They didn’t have any local kits or jerseys but I did get a cool t~shirt to rep when we got home… Thanks
Some wretch stole my saddle today but Brick Lane bikes got me back on the road in no time finding me a metal clamp out of their bits box behind the counter and a comfortable cheap saddle which they fitted while I waited. Great service and nice people.
Probably the best bike shop in London! Can't recommend this place enough!! The long story: The through axle of my road bike's rear wheel broke about a week ago. I tried a lot of other bike shops, and none was open to the idea of replacing the broken part, saying it would be almost as expensive as getting a new wheel. Thankfully I found this place! The staff were super helpful and friendly and after looking at the issue, they told me that their suppliers wouldn't provide with the required part, but that they would be happy to fit it and fix the wheel if I sourced the part myself they provided me with the specs of what I needed. I found the piece in Halfords where they actually told me they wouldn't try to fix the wheel, like all the previous bike shops!. Then I took the part to the workshop, where they fitted it and fixed the wheel as promised, in record time, for next to nothing. I took the wheel back home and couldn't fit it in the frame, so brought the whole thing back to the shop and they completed the final touch for free plus lent me a quick release which I'd forgotten at mine!. My wheel is now spinning like new!! I'm so glad I'm riding my bike again, specially having avoided unnecessary generation of waste. What an amazing team. Thank you so much!!
Best bike store in London. Huge selection of vintage steel frames. Used and new parts for steel bike lovers and all others. In house made bikes are simple and beautiful. Staff was patient and helpful. Will be coming back next time I’m in the area.
I recently took my vintage Carlton bike to Brick Lane Bikes for a wheel fix, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team did an amazing job, bringing my beloved bike back to life with exceptional skill and attention to detail. The wheel was rebuild flawlessly, and the bike rides smoother than ever. Their expertise and dedication to quality work truly stand out. Highly recommend for any bike repairs or restorations!
Bought a front rack from here assuming that I would get more help than if I ordered a cheaper one online and trying to support local businesses. Sadly the kit provided didn't have enough nuts, screws were of varying lengths and the rack fell off a few days into using it. I am sure I mounted it incorrectly, but I have never fixed a rack to a bike before and I felt that the staff could have been a bit kinder and more keen to help me use their product. I will be looking somewhere else in future.
wanted to try a local place instead of a big chain the fixes to my bike were good and have worked, but the customer service was poor. I was not notified when my bike was ready to collect, I spent 30 minutes waiting for their systems to work to use my cycle scheme benefit, and they broke a light on my bike and did not tell me / offer to replace
Super friendly and professional shop. Solved my issue with a non standard size bottom bracket badly fitted by someone else in no time. Will carry one using for all my bikes need.
Great Fellas Working Here!! Greatly enjoyed talking bikes with them and ended up buying a very unique pedal wrench!! Would recommend!!
+1000 karma points I had two minor repairs which they could've easily charged me for, but they were really kind enough to not charge me. Bonus points for playing Tyler in the bg <3
