The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right near the sea front and within walking distance of some nice restaurants. The hotel itself is nice but does need a bit of a refresh in places, like the hallways and beer garden, both are a bit dated and smell a little funky. The room itself was a good size and what you would expect. Parking is a bit tight in places, but there is normally enough. The breakfast was good, full English and continental available. I've stayed here a few times and am booked to go back. I stay at premier inns regularly for work around the south of the UK and I do like this location.
Despite asking the receptionist the way into the car park she did not advise us that we needed to register our car's details which resulted in a £50 fine from the parking company.nShe also insisted we book breakfast but when we got to the restaurant in the morning there was no booking. Fortunately the restaurant had plenty of space and we had a lovely breakfast
Great location, clean rooms, our only wish is to have a fridge in the family room as my daughter had medicine that needed to be kept in the fridge so we used a cooler box. Was very busy during check in time and it takes ages - clearly understaffed. We had a deal that included breakfast and dinner with Beefeater. Some tables were a bit sticky, also wish there were more healthy options on the menu and during breakfast, but we're happy to see fresh juices PIP for kids
Second time we have stayed in this hotel on a mini family holiday for myself, wife and x2 young children. Completely ideal for a family stay when you have lots planned.nnThe outside beer garden is also a high point with great views, especially on a Summers evening. Great location to the beach - short 2 min walk over the bridge!
Fantastic location. We stayed family of 4 and parked in the overflow council car par which you can get to via the premier inn site card machine and around £10 for 24hrs which was perfect for us.nLovely room overlooking the gardens and sea - the floor in the room was really squeaky.nOur room had a step up and a step down to the bathroom which was different reminded everyone before bed not to trip in the night nStaff were very friendly.nWe had breakfast at the attached Beefeater which was nice but my only 2 gripes were the awful coffee and the fact they put fresh hot food i.e. bacon etc on top of the old food - in my opinion the new fresh food should be at the bottom.
