We embrace French culture and love of food and celebrate all that is great about French cuisine. All of our dishes are freshly prepared in our bistrots by our chefs, using a mix of artisan provincial ingredients and carefully selected locally sourced ingredients, in the style of typical continental bistrots.

Simply cannot fault this cracking place in anyway shape or form. We went last night for the 6 course set dinner and it was divine. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere is really warm and relaxed, the service from the staff was exceptional and the food ... Wow, we'll be back. If you do fancy the 6 course, go hungry! (I think it's available for the second and last Tuesday of the month).

Lovely sea views and a great menu. Lots of selection for gluten free, not so much for vegetarians. I would definitely recommend booking on a weekend.

Mrs T and I had a delicious and surprisingly inexpensive brunch at Bistrot Pierre. She had a very generous portion of pancakes with berries and mascarpone, which were light and tasty. My Eggs Benedict were well executed; two perfectly poached runny-yoked eggs sat atop a raft of smoked ham and lightly toasted muffins, generously smothered with rich hollandaise sauce. They didn't last long. We were greedy and had an extra two rounds of toast too, served with preserves and butter. The wife had a latte (good by all accounts), while I opted for a couple of pots of the unlimited tea (alternatively it could have been filter coffee) for only £1 (when had with cooked breakfast). This all amazingly came to just £16.95! Service was attentive and friendly too. We sat upstairs and had a fantastic view out across the bay. I cannot think how this experience could have been bettered. We will definitely seek out Bistrot Pierre again!

Excellent food. Family Friendly. Lively. Caters for parties. Booking well in advance is Strongly Advised. Staff are professional and helpful. They Don't hover over or rush you. Is on two levels. With fantastic views over Torbay from window seating. Both levels are accessible a lift to access both levels, with facilities on the lower level. Negotiating the upper level can be challenging for wheelchair users when full. Le Bistrot Pierre is also within short walking of the Princess Theatre or a Leisurely Stroll to Torquay Harbour.

My wife and I have just had a most lovely time at Le Bistrot Pierre. It was really homely, relaxed and really efficient. The young lady at front of house was amazing, she made us feel really welcome. The food was really tasty and we intend to add to our loyalty card :-)
