Busy and short-staffed, but served quickly and efficiently. Food was excellent, fresh and hot. Will go back again!

The pizza was tasty and fresh. The service initially was slow but improved. Overall it was fine.

The salads here are to die for! Pizzas always nice too but for a change try the salads.

This was my first visit to Pizza express and will certainly be my last! We were a table of 9 celebrating 2 of the groups birthdays. 7 of us got our food and 2 of the party didn't get theirs until we had nearly finished. The pasta finally arrived on cold dishes and was luke warm. My pizza with salad in the middle consisted of two lettuce leaves chopped up and 1 slice of tomato. The chocolate brownie for the youngest member of the group was still frozen. What should have been an enjoyable evening was marred by the poor food. I found it overpriced for the portions and drinks. I will stick to supporting the small independent restaurants in future rather than a chain who don't appear to care about the quality of the food served to their patrons. We were given 25% discount and a bottle of wine but to be honest it didn't make up for ruining my partners birthday meal.
