I recently stayed at the Premier Inn London Tolworth and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Tolworth train station, making it easy to travel into central London. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities you would expect from a Premier Inn. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or needs. The on-site Thyme restaurant offered a decent selection of meals for breakfast and dinner, with good quality food at reasonable prices. While the hotel itself doesn't offer extensive facilities, the nearby area has various shops and eateries, providing plenty of options. One minor downside was the occasional noise from the nearby main road, but it was not significant enough to disturb our stay. Overall, the Premier Inn London Tolworth is a great budget-friendly option for those looking to explore London while staying outside the hustle and bustle of the city center. I would definitely consider staying here Food & drinks: Very nice and tasty food
Really impressed at our stay in the Premier Inn. The stay was very comfortable and, for the price paid, it met all our expectations. Throughout our stay the staff were working so hard and yet provided excellent and polite service. We paid for the meal deal and it was great value. You can get a 2 course dinner, a drink and breakfast for £26ish. The menu is good and offers some good, fairly healthy food. The breakfast is unlimited and offers cereal, croissants etc, and a reasonable selection of cooked choices. Overall, for London, it was both convenient and good value.
Just had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn Tolworth. What made the stay extra special were the staff, in particular Rachel on reception who was so welcoming and friendly and really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Eva was also very helpful serving at breakfast and went the extra mile looking after guests. But all staff were great and rooms were spotless, bed so comfortable and it was close to Sandown Racecourse which was even better. Extra touches were car parking under the hotel, safe and cheap, but super impressed with the electric car charging which was free!! Thanks again for looking after us, booked again for December for the Sandown festive race weekend, we look forward to seeing you all again. Rooms: Rooms were spotless, housekeeping doing a fabulous job Nearby activities: Sandown racecourse nearby Food & drinks: Breakfast was lovely and great value
Hotel is in a convenient location with Tolworth train station a 2 min walk away. Breakfast is good enough and quite cheap at £10pp. Staff were clueless about how the car park operates. Told different stories by different staff. Told we had to go down and pay daily. But on exit we were given the option to pay for 48 hours... Rooms were clean, modern and had comfy beds which you'd expect from any Premier Inn. Have stayed here before and noise from other guests was bad, but this time no disturbances. Lifts not operating down to car park level which is annoying but ok as I am able bodied, but those that are not may struggle. Vending machines are very expensive. £2.50 for a bottle.of water!
Right next to the train station so perfect to walk to when traveling by train. Room was perfect but the service to check in really slow, they appeared to have a problem with the card programming machine. Also the lift was not responding from the basement or ground floor, so you had to walk upstairs from the basement car park with bag and from the ground to first floor to get the lift to higher floors. I’m sure that was a one off though as I’ve stayed here before with none of these problems.
Room was really nice. Breakfast was great for the price. Restraunt and reception staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The second lift wasn't working which proved to be a nuisance during busy periods. Tried many times to call the hotel prior to our visit but unable to get information as the call was Never answered.
Stayed here on a work trip last night. Was a bit unsure what to expect after looking at some previous reviews but it was absolutely fine. What you'd expect from a premier inn. The car park was fine when I visited in terms of size and ramp which I saw criticized previously and I drive an XC90 which is a large vehicle. The charge of £8 per night is fine for where you are. I did have to chuckle at the 'chefs' in the evening calling for 'service' just after hearing the microwave ping...to the poor girls on the floor running around while they stood there The girl with the red hair who was on the reception desk, the bar, the restaurant is a credit to the place, very efficient and good at her job. There was a visit from what I assume to be an area manager when I arrived meeting with members of the team in the restaurant/bar area, I'm not sure I'd want a meeting with my boss to be in public like that and not sure paying customers want to be hearing those conversations either. Room was better than expected from previous reviews, clean and tidy and a good size. Will return for future trips no doubt. Rooms: Good size, clean and tidy. Food & drinks: Unlimited breakfast. Basic but adequate dinners. Drinks a little expensive. The Asian ladies waiting in the evening were very attentive, friendly and efficient.
Brilliant hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff but clueless, I was told that I have to pay for car park £8 for each time I leave and re-enter so I paid 3x £8 during the day I stayed and when I checked out morning staff told me that I have to pay when I'm leaving!!! Definitely time to switch to holiday inn since I have never had a problem with parking. I have paid more than the price difference between holiday inn and premier inn in parking charges.
I stayed here last night 7th January I really don’t see any of the problems people have mentioned. Guy on the desk was polite & very helpful. We were offered a bath or a shower based on our preference. Everything was clean. We were on the first floor room 109 had a brilliant nights sleep room was quiet. Great use of heating & air con. WiFi signal was good I just used the free one to join. Breakfast was good same as premier inns. I don’t understand what people expect for the price. You haven’t booked Buckingham palace but it’s clean, comfortable & staff do their best. Thanks to all the staff
FOR DISABLED CUSTOMERS I couldn't find the answers I needed on web site. I emailed head office and they didnt know. I couldn't get through to hotel sooo there is a disabled space in right just before you drive down into car park. The lift from car park to reception doesnt work. Very difficult car park to navigate. Narrow entry round a bend going down and its 2 way, what!! The poor 2 ladies at the hotel were waitresses and receptionists at the same time because self service check in wasnt working. Light outside lift on 7th floor were not working and the light in lift wasnt working. Our toilet seat in bathroom was very wobbly. Our heating panel was different from the instruction manual in room so couldnt use it and it kept blowing cold air. The food served in restaurant was just edible. Took ages to get drinks as waitress was on reception. We were not given menus when we sat down so after 15 minutes I went to find them. Premier Inn need to do lots of maintenance on this hotel and provide more staff.
