Food very slow on both days, no plug sockets near bed and car park flood lights are directed at bedroom windows!

Very friendly staff, and the room was fine too. The breakfast in the beefeater next door was good too.

Positively the most dreary breakfast experience I've had at a premier inn ever. Way way way under-staffed for the type of service they say they offer. We waited almost 30 minutes for a cooked breakfast which we saw sitting under the lights but couldn't get to because it's so-called 'table service'. The two waitresses seemed disengaged and the maitre d was under a lot of pressure. No coffee cups because they were being washed; I ordered two soft fried eggs - both hard; over--cooked quorn sausage and a cold cooked half tomato - £8.99. Not good.

Customer service was great. Rooms very spacious. Bed was comfy, was stuffy though had to open the windows and turn off the radiators. Unfortunately was not able to have a full night's rest due to being hot. Bathroom was lovely, had shower and bath suite. Hot running water that was instantly on tap. We ordered breakfast apart of our 1 night stay. Breakfast was very filling had a full English breakfast too. Things they need to improve on is the general decor of the hotel. Paint work looks dated beige maybe repaint to white to give it a freshen up. Some of the lights at the front of the hotel were dusty and covered with cobwebs with spiders. WiFi was slow only 1mbps, really annoying thing is that they have a premium WiFi which would possibly give faster speeds. For me that's selfish as a family of 3 we spent close to £200 for one night then expecting to be charged for decent WiFi just to stream video or music it's a cheek. Question, Would I go back? Possibly but they would need to improve on updating the hotel decor before I place another booking with them again.
