I've stayed a few times for work. The bar/restaurant staff seem extremely stressed at all times and I often have to wait 1+ hour for food. They don't seem to work well together and there is always an atmosphere with them. Lately I stayed and was put into a room that obviously used to have a joining door. Not an issue however it seems they've made 0 attempt to soundproof it, a piece of paper would have done just as well as the wood did. I could hear my neighbour coughing, walking around, talking on the phone, I could even hear him going to toilet behind his closed bathroom door!! No privacy whatsoever. Moved rooms and was put into one where the window is that old attempt at double glazing which never shuts properly and lets the wind and the rain in. I don't recommend this hotel.

The social event was well organised. Lovely venue. Could have done with steady bar staff - varied between 1-3 staff -as the bar was quite busy. Would def recommend.

Great hotel, clean and tidy rooms. The breakfast was good, however staff where slow replenishing the food, meaning you had cold food on your plate waiting for the beans. Apart from that the price is good and I would stay here again.

The hotel bar and restaurant was actually really nice with great views over the river. Staff were very friendly too. Rooms and exterior could do with a touch of modernisation but other than that I have a pleasant stay

Comfortable but dated. From the outside this hotel looks like a 1960s tower block of flats. Inside a lot of the furniture appears to have been left from the 60s! Great views across the river from the bar and restaurant and close to town centre.
