Given rooms a 4* only because two adults and 2 children felt squishy, but it was only a room to sleep in we where out all day and most of evenings so wasn't horrendous, although a larger suit would have been better for times when we where waiting around for family events. Food was lovely in the restaurant and kids ate free for breakfast so cannot fault that. All in all had a lovely time and the hotel was within 15/20 mins drive of our family who live in the area and the attractions we went for.
At 71, and especially around mid-winter, I figure I'm too old to drive from my Gr Manchester home to my son and family's home in Poole for Christmas. So staying here at almost exactly the halfway point down and up.nHotel location is perfect.nThe rooms I've had are excellent. As a coffee snob I really appreciate the Nespresso machine. And the fridge with 2 bottles of water free.nBathroom also excellent.nTreated myself to one of the 3rd floor superior rooms both stays and IMHO worth every penny.nHaven't eaten in either stay so can't comment on the restaurant.
We had a lovely weekend with family and stayed here for the one night.nAll their computer systems were down and guests kept coming asking to check in early. Brandon was so polite and calm and extremely helpful to all the customers.nWe will definitely stay here again.nWe were made very welcome by Brandon
Mould, mould, mould. I've stayed in a lot of Premier Inn hotels, but this one is far from the best. The bathroom extractor fan does not work, and as a result of this there is mould around the sink and shower, and the paint on the ceiling is peeling. Clearly shows that the humidity has been building up for a while and needs addressing.nnOn the plus side, the staff were friendly, from my limited interactions, and the location is convenient.
A truly lovely hotel that we would highly recommend. The location is excellent, making it easy to access everything we needed, and the ample parking was a huge bonus. The staff were excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast area was a little busy, but the food was good and kept us fueled for the day. A genuinely lovely stay from start to finish.
