Fantastic service, and such a lovely family run business. The room was spotless and always kept clean if you were to go out. Lovely spacious rooms, in a quiet area of the town - but close enough to easily walk to the centre. Breakfast was delicious and would highly recommend a stay at the Avonlea Guesthouse. Overall great experience.

Room was small, but clean and the service was excellent. A few minor nit-picks (would probably serve juice in a jug instead of in the Tesco carton, for example!) but would stay again.

Received a warm welcome from Debbie and the room was excellent lovely fresh bedding and very clean also it was one of the best breakfasts by fair !!! Will definitely return in the future,

The room was unfortunately small and near the entry door, cold but comfortable. Breakfast was good, better than others, though. Service and staff were good. There was also a free small car park.
