Nice and cosy place to stay however due to the building being old footsteps can be heard on the creaking floorboards from floors above. Breakfast is delicious and refreshing however some may say lacking in portion sizes

Clean, tidy and friendly. We slept well even though we were at the front of the building and on a busy main road. Breakfast was nice and hot with eggs cooked how we liked them

The outside is gorgeous. The place is very clean. The staff on the phone were lovely. Double bed is small (I guess it's a standard double) but comfy. We were checked in by someone who didn't speak much English and handed a piece of paper with the door entry code. She didn't mention breakfast times but apparently this little card had the time. I came down at 8.50 and had missed breakfast by five minutes. As a small quiet place I would have expected them to be able to make an exception especially as I hadn't actually been told times. Very disappointing. For that reason alone and the way it was dealt with, I wouldn't go back.

Hotel facilities good - but told check in at 4pm but on arrival midday no staff no facility to get a cup of tea/coffee cases taken off us but we had to leave to find somewhere to eat. No offer of refreshments unusual for such a splendid hotel/guest house.

Really awesome stay at the Easington. Great rooms, friendly staff and a super breakfast
