During a short job trip to Banbury, I stayed in the Hanwell House for a couple of nights. The place is outstanding! Jan is a wonderful woman who is there to make it you as comfy as possible. The breakfast...... I haven't seen this kind of breakfast. Lovely! Fresh own made compote and jam. And then the rooms. Rooms are good and it is quite by night. I haven't slept this well in any other hotel/B&B Until next time! Score=10/10

Beautiful house, gorgeous room. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Excellent little B&B. Jan Hanwell was an excellent host, very friendly and really couldn't do enough for her guests. The rooms are well presented and comfy, with everything you could need. Tea making facilities (the home made biscuits were a delight and a very nice touch) as well as Digital TV in the room and WIFI available, which is a must in this day and age. There is a good variety of breakfast options available and I can highly recommend going for the full English breakfast. As I was staying away for work, having enough charging points is a must and Hanwell House didn't disappoint, with more than enough points in the room. There are a few shops just a short walk away, as well as a decent pub, with a good atmosphere and the food is cooked well, which can always be a bit hit and miss with pub chains. Although I was unable to explore the area during my stay, the location of Hanwell House seems fine enough for those wishing to do so. I would highly recommend a stay at Hanwell House Bed & Breakfast.
