The staff are usually very efficient although can be somewhat standoffish at times. I am however very sad that on my last visit one of the staff was yelling at a customer. The customer was confused and was struggling to understand the instructions at the counter, but wasn't being rude in any way. The staff member was for some reason very frustrated, impatient, and started yelling at him for not understanding what to do. It was very uncomfortable for everyone in the store and the other staff did not help to diffuse the situation. After reading so many negative reviews below I've come to understand that the rude staff was the manager, an Asian man, and who has also clearly been using his friends phones to make fake 5 star reviews to praise himself.

One of the rudest Postmasters l have ever come across. I wanted to post a letter, but didn’t want one of those ugly printed labels stuck on the little envelope. When l asked him for actual real postage stamps to the value of the transaction he told me that he didn’t have any. When I asked why not he replied that this was because they’re too expensive!!! This was obviously an outright lie, so l took my letter back and walked to another post office where a very polite assistant sold me a stamp of the required value. I explained to the assistant my experience with the Clerk Street Postmaster and they agreed with me that he had been lying and also confirmed that they had heard reports from other customers about that man’s bad attitude. l then returned to the Clerk Street post office and confronted the Postmaster. He again claimed not to stock postage stamps and, when again asked why not, he again answered that they were too expensive and that he was in the business to save money. As l left the post office, a couple of other customers agreed with me about this man’s rudeness and bad attitude. An official complaint will be made to Post Office HQ. PS, On another occasion, when l was sending a perfectly addressed parcel to Croatia, this very same man tried to send the item to Corsica!!! Luckily, l noticed in time, telling him several times ‘No! Croatia!’. But he struggled to understand the difference between Croatia and Corsica, more or less admitting he had never heard of Croatia. Say no more!

The employer here ignores the safety of his staff and refuses governmental instruction on the Red weather warning. Very rude and lacking in basic manners

No idea why there's such negativity for this place. I'm in there all the time sending letters and connecting Amazon parcels. Staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Always terrible customer service, staff seam to think they special because they incharge of mail. Reading the other comments I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one that feels this way. Surely when so many people complain about the same thing something needs to be fixed!
