INCOMPETENT SCAMMERS! They do not uphold your statutory rights! Go here if you have money to throw away. Worst Post Office I've ever been to. My experience in other branches have always been positive but this one should be shut down. They need to hire people that can speak the English language well enough to understand the services they are meant to be providing. And this is coming from someone of a mixed multicultural background. The woman "serving" at the desk was more interested in taking her leisurely time walking back and forth with nothing in hand while there was a queue and chatting with her colleague working in the other part of the shop until other customers ahead of me began to get irate and impatient. I was returning a parcel to the USA and asked for it to be tracked, signed AND the FULL value of the item 120GBP to be protected if lost in transit and was happy to pay the price for that. Before I had finished my sentence she was already saying "yeah yeah address?!". I made my request explicitly clear three times and she agreed. Months later I am trying to track the parcel as it is very obviously lost now and the recipient hasnt received it. I then get a letter from the post office with a cheque for only 70GBP. When I emailed to query the partial refund I was then told the service I paid for was only partial cover. If i wanted only part of the money back I would have paid for a cheaper service. I did NOT get what I asked for and was missold the wrong service and have lost money that i cannot recover due to their staff!
I work 9-5 Monday to Friday which is why Royal Mail re-directed my package to this post office. This post office opening hours is the same hours as my work hours which leaves no opportunity for me to collect my package… completely brainless planning by Royal Mail
The people behind the courier service two ladiesare absolutely awful. They are disgustingly rude and disrespectful. They were so preoccupied with being ironic about a simple question I asked that they executed my delivery incorrectly- had to return to the shop to fix it, thank God I realised on time. Very rude and condescending. If there is a manager overseeing this place they should definitely review their staff members. UNACCEPTABLE behaviour. At least the guy behind the cash register was very polite and helpful.
I used Amazon pickup services there and met the most rude, stone cold faced woman at the counter, who shouldn’t be working with customers! Shocking behaviour. Never again going there! This place should be closed or retrain their staff!
5 Star Rating for the outstanding customer service I receive on a weekly basis from the young man who wears glasses and is often working at the front til. He is very polite, professional and has great attention to detail - a real credit to Royal Mail!
Absolutely rude! I had called in with a query and the lady who answered was not helpful at all, she hung the phone on me before I could even ask a follow up question! I do NOT recommend using this post office. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!!! If I could I would give 0 stars!
The lady working at the Amazon desk is very inefficient and has zero customer service; while the guy working at the outside counter is nice and helpful.
Extremely rude and hostile customer service. My letter was thrown at me when I asked a question. They are discriminatory towards black people. Do not go to this store if you are black or Muslim as I can see from the comments a trend.
Bad, bad, bad customer service but worse than that, today the woman behind the post office counter spoke to me using her language which was not English against me! The issue began when the customer infront of me had finished but was continuing their conversation. I asked the server to serve me and continue their conversation some where else being that the post office is a service for all and I wanted to get on. Both women then, with raised voices told me that I have no right to ask anything because I didn't understand their language so didn't understand what they were talking about! I found the entire experience disgraceful being that we are in the UK and the post office is supposed to be serving the UK as a whole without bias. After leaving I returned having decided to make a formal complaint. I asked for the woman's name or reference number being that the complaint is about her behaviour not the company. She refused to give her details again with a raised voice. When I mentioned by law I have a right to know who I'm complaining about she told me she doesn't need the law. I've uploaded the recording of this on my YouTube channel. I had told her that I was recording the conversation but this didn't bother her. My point is, because complaining about services like this isn't easy most people can't be bothered with hassle so people like this feel confident that they can continue to treat customers with this rude attitude and nothing will happen. I felt so disrespected I have to say something
