Rarely ever a wait, and although inside a newsagents - I find I get a better service than say the post office inside WHSmith.
I'm fortunate enough to live round the corner from this place, they are my go to convenience store. My missus posts parcels all the time, whether it something she's sold on ebay or a return amazon package so I'm in and out of this place constantly. The post office is quick and convenient, they scan the code, weigh the parcel and off it goes. We've sent countless parcels via these guys and never had a problem!! Bonus for me is they have the coldest fridges therefore beers in town!!! Good work C
I’m confused why others have rated so badly as I’ve only ever had a great experience here - and I use their services daily to ship parcels for my business. The guys are lovely and have only ever been helpful to me since opening a year ago. I’ve also submitted plenty of returns and not had any issues with them being received. I can’t help thinking others are being too harsh. We should be supporting local businesses and giving them helpful, constructive feedback when needed.
The post office has recently moved into the Hackbridge convenience store, which is very handy and late closing times definitely helps - this will be my go to location hereafter! The store staff are friendly and well trained to cope with store till and post office situated side by side allowing to be opened till 9 p.m.! Mainly they are very patient regardless how busy the store can be to get you serviced right without any hassle - definitely recommended. P.S. I'm not sure on the negative reviews which could be associated to the old location of the post office!
Don’t bother sending any packages to this post office as they have now lost two packages after the tracking stated it was delivered to them. Told me to come back another day as he wAs too busy to search more than the 2 mins he did. Packages lying all over the shop where anyone can come in and pick it up. No system in place to handle packages. Really bad service. Will be back to carshalton in future!!!!
USE ANOTHER POST OFFICE. Do yourself a favour and travel the extra half a mile and use a decent post office one that knows what they are doing, very rude and not very helpful and thanks to them not having a clue they have completely messed up my return back to a ebay seller meaning I will now have to pay because they have used the QR code but not sent the parcel, which means the QR code and tracking is void all because they haven't got a clue on what I was saying and now im fightingto get my refundback becauseof this postoffice. AVOID. Thanks to these, it cost me £3.49 at Carshalton because they messed up.
Awful service I took a parcel back they printed a returns label said Amazon would email me receipt label so didn’t need a receipt and tracking number . Well I never got the email and yes parcel lost. Nothing I can do as no tracking number so now I’m down £78 yet followed procedure to the tea. So I was robbed even though they know me Disgusted
Popped in 10 minutes before closing and become an enemy. "You can say whatever you want I'm closing" no "sorry" just rude service. 1stly if you say you are open till 9be open till now. 2ndly if the client is coming do be rude at the entrance.
Never again I will used this post office. so bad experience with my return parcel, which I send here, and it came to my house again after 20 days because of worker of post office, he didn't put label of return. The worth service on a Royal mail here, what I saw.
