Worst experience ever with any post office. I had two big boxes to post. I rushed from home and reached 20 minutes before closing. When the guy found out that the boxes are returned item only he said he can't take big boxes. I had to take boxes to London road post office and they happily took them.
I get very nervous with the thought of going to this post office. I have had so many bad experiences in there. The staffs have poor customer services experience. There is one staff member a man who always looks angry and upset. This man is very rude every time I go in there. The was one day he told me to leave my pushchair outside, i said no and he got mad. I mainly go into that post office to collect my parcels and if that man is there, he always creates a problem out of nothing even when he is not serving me! It’s terrible!
Good customer service, all the staff member are really helpful and friendly. Anu was really helpful and approach us with smile and solve all the issues which I had it.
I visited this post office and I found that all the staff are very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for help. Always advised me correctly and tried to help as much as possible. AAAAAA
I've been using this post office for 20 years, never had a problem with customer service from the main man or women there.
So I've recently moved into the area, I first used this post office for passport service so paid for special delivery twice, therefore as a paying customer, they showed some sort of acknowledgement of my presence. I've now visited twice since then and all I can say is if you don't pay for special delivery or use a service where they can make extra money off you, you barely seen and you are certainly not heard. I had the smallest package no bigger then my head and I was charged to use sellotape for an amazon package return. Please see picture of my package, just to give you an idea. so there is no extra money to be made here, this time! So after I was charged 60p for sellotape the lady told me, whilst looking at me like I was dirt off her shoe, that I have the wrong QR code i had hermes instead of royal mail and didn't help me further just proceeded to talk to her colleagues. I have a diasbility, they saw me take my painkillers for god's sake and no proper custom was given. They can see my struggle but they are just talking in their own language no doubt about me I was in so much pain and so tired that I just left, didn't even say goodbye. Conclusion: Don't bother with THIS office, go to the central one on the high street or south croydon. Perhaps then they will learn a lesson in customer service and value. I do believe its the area it resides but why should that be taken out on genuinely resepctful customers needing their services?
Poorest Postoffice service ever. ROYAL MAIL Should find someone else to run this postoffice!!!
Should be an option for 0 stars for this complete WASTE OF TIME, due to INCOMPETENCE!!!! Absolutely useless I can understand why this post office stoped doing car tax years ago, as they are now finding it impossible to do the basic job of processing one. After waiting in a queue for WAY too long the owner/manager of MANY years was unable to tax the vehicle apparently due to DVLA. Sitting outside the post office on hold to DVLA for some time it, was finally confirmed that the only reason this tax would not have been able to be processed is if the person at the post office INCORRECTLY entered the details. I believe that’s called INCOMPETENCE!! I therefore re-entered the post office whilst still on the phone to the DVLA agent, only for the manager to tell me I must leave the post office as he is closing now. So is it complete incompetence, or was it just the fact that leaving on time was more important then completing the task/service advertised issuing car tax? This resulted in having to pay the tax over the phone for 6 months/1 year, as opposed to the initial “Direct Debit” set up as wished, which cannot be done over the phone to DVLA. POINTLESS JOURNEY!!!!!!!!! Long story, short: Better to go to a main post office, where people can do things properly!!
I typically use another post office branch as I have a drop and go account I have a small business. At present I cannot go to that branch because they are temporary closed. I attended the Mitcham branch yesterday Monday 6 April, and there was two women serving one older who had been working at the branch for years and another younger lady. As I was served by the younger lady the older women interrupted and told me I should go to the sorting office as it is a lot quicker service. I had quite a few items to post no more than 30 as it had just been the weekend All items were prepaid online, they just needed scanning so I can get my receipt which in my opinion cuts down on the staff inputting the address into her computer. Today being Tuesday 7 April, I had realised that I had forgotten to put something into one of my envelopes yesterday so I fort I would go to the branch to see if I could get hold of it before it was collected. I had carried 10 items with me, which needed to be posted as it made sense seeing as I am going to the branch I might as well post my items, again these were all prepaid for and labelled. As soon as I got in to the post office the older lady was looking at me with an angry look on her face, again I was served by the younger lady and I had asked if it was possible to get hold of one of the items I had posted as I stated that I have left something out of it and she said no the post had all been collected. So, I said okay and said I would like to send the items I have off, the older women interrupted again and said we can’t serve you, you have to go to the sorting office, she said there was no room to keep my post. I had 10 items all weighing 230g large letters!!! She then said if I want me to post these I can but won’t give you a receipt. I told her I have been waiting in the queue and I do need all my receipts as proof of postage, and the only reason why I am back here is because I was hoping to get back one of my items! The younger lady then served me and the older women said that this is the last time! This is not acceptable. I have made the effort to prepay for all my item online before going to the post office. 8 out of /10 times my parcel are under 230g large letters not massive boxes where they would find it difficult to store. The older women was rude and there was no need for it. We have all had to adapt to the current changes and we all have to try and make each other’s lives a little easier. I have a disability where I find it hard to stand/ walk for a long amount of time. The lady would of happily of turned me away even though I had lined up in the queue for 10 minutes. Someone needs to speak to this member of staff because her attitude is unacceptable and I shall not be going back to that branch again even though it has now inconvenienced me.
Very very bad customer service. I would give a 0 if I could. I asked the lady if she had tape so I could tape my parcel and she said no. She asked me to buy the tape which I did. A few seconds later I see another lady returning the tape she had borrowed. I didn't know favouritism was a thing at the post office as well. Very disappointed. Will not be returning here
