We booked a couple days before opening and admittedly chose Porthtowan because it was one of the few places open this early into the season! But we are so glad we stumbled across this wonderful site. Andy, Angie & James were so helpful and lovely and we had some lovely conversations and they also made a very good restaurant recommendation. The site itself was absolutely spotless and the facilities are spot on. We stayed as two friends but I can’t wait to bring my family back in the summer months.
Beautiful place, clean and tidy. All the facilities, gorgeous camp site. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice little games room. Beautiful Porthtowen beach literally 5 minutes walk x Nearby activities: Porthtowan beach Walkability: 5 minutes from the beach and mine buildings x
Stayed for a couple of days the week following half-term. Bit of a hike to the beach but a beautifully kept campsite. Spacious pitches. Great sports and play areas. A few too many notices telling campers what to do or not to do for my liking but overall very good.
Beautiful and well kept campsite. WC and showers always clean. 5 minutes drive from nearest beach. Ideal for camper vans, maybe not so much for tent camping. Slight letdown on amount of warning signs at every corner what you can do and what not mainly not. And because of that it lost a spirit of camping.
Spent 2 nights here with our motorhome and a tent, first impression was very pretty campsite and extremely clean and well kept. Owners very welcoming and friendly nothing too much trouble. Site is laid out well and everything clearly sign posted for refuge, waste and water supply. Easy access with barrier fob. Great location with very pretty beaches close by. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely stay. Playground: Lovely play area for children. Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome on leads.
Really lovely and well-kept campsite. Owners are very friend and knowledgeable. Facilities are clean. There's even full WiFi coverage! Will definitely come back, we've had a great time.Rooms: 5/5
Easily the best campsite we have ever stayed on. Immaculately clean, super-friendly staff family run, well organised, less than a 5 minute car drive from the beach and no noisy onsite club house/bar……..perfect. If your looking for a quiet getaway to somewhere special you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful camp site. I stayed here with my family for a three night in weekend. The toilet /shower was cleaned at all the time. I like the facilities for campsite. Definitely come again… Nearby activities: Playground for children and adults. Safety: Area is clean and comfortable. Food & drinks: There is a shop inside I can get everything what I needed.
A little gem of a holiday park, Andy, Angie & James were the most polite and helpful of any holiday staff I have ever met and I REALLY DO MEAN IT. Spotlessly clean everywhere, no rowdy groups, no evening noise. A++++ Will 100% be booking again
