Nice decor, you had near enough everything you need. Facilities are not brand new so although they were clean and well presented, perhaps starting to get a little tired. Basic kitchen with hob, kettle, toaster came in handy and are always a great addition. Basic but working shower with good water pressure and 1 large, 1 small towel provided. The bed was nice and comfy! All in all, a great place to stay, friendly host, good value for money and in the perfect location. The only feedback I have is that although it clearly had been cleaned, just a little more attention to detail would make the place from good to excellent. For example, clock had no batteries so didn't work, small travel shampoos provided were half used and not accompanied by a conditioner or body wash, a few more hangers in wardrobe etc. A broom would also be helpful as being so close to the beach we were bound to bring back some sand. Still a great stay and would 100% stay here again! The Haven is in a fantastic location with a short walk to the beach they may be a few hills!. Portreath beach is a lovely beach and the area is great for people who love walking as South west coastal path accessible just up the hill. Our favourite place to eat and drink was the atlantic cafe on the beachfront which served food until about 7pm and drinks. The staff there were extremely friendly and the good was great with generous helpings! We cant wait to visit Portreath again
Fantastic views, however the apartment was dirty. Owner double booked our last night and only informed us 1 hour before asking us to depart-then we had to spend best part of 2 hours trying to find alternative accommodation. He dealt with it in a very unprofessional way and had a very cavalier attitude. The place has great potential to be awesome but it sadly let down by lack of care and professionalism.
We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful views, comfy apartment full of everything you could need and a wonderful host.
Stayed here for a few nights, views are fantastic, very clean apartment, had everything we needed. The host, Matt, was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely view from the balcony, looking over Portreath. Very comfortable apartment, clean and has everything you need. Possibly needs a small oven to go with the stove top.

Not very clean. Oven tray full of bacon fat in oven. Kitchen area not clean. Hairs in bed.A party downstairs when we stayed.
