Only went to the pub for 1 drink on a Saturday evening. Didnt stay longer or eat. They had music playing over speakers, lots of room to dance if you wanted as only about 10 people in there when we visited. Lovely open fire burning which is in my opinion the nicest bit of the pub
Brilliant pub, everyone is so friendly, welcome and happy to meet new people, made 20 new friends there this past 2 weeks, playing pool, they don't ask you to order alcoholic beverages which is great for someone in recovery, yet still happy to have you there playing pool and socialising. My favourite pub in the are recommend. Walkability: Easy to get to from Redruth town center.
Wow. Blown away by this place. Lots and lots of choice.... especially shots! Girl behind the bar was really friendly and helpful. Nice to have a pool table and an open fire. Just a nice local boozer!Service: 5/5
Visited en route to a Cornwall rugby match. Great atmosphere, friendly, competent staff and a good pint. Enjoyed it so much that we dropped in again after the match for another pint.
A great tradional Cornish pub. They have built a great area out the back with another bar and smoking section. Barmaids very nice as well.
Staff are really friendly. Great atmosphere in this pub. Facilities; fireplace with seating area, pool table, beer garden with sheltered area, toilets, stage, and live TV. Plenty of different drinks on offer.
Came here for 1 or 2 drinks and the atmosphere kept me here for Lot more.... the land lord shakey didn't help matters ha ha. Amazing place with alot of friendly people, felt like a home away from home. You should make this a permanent stop on your travels.
Friendly pub, families welcome, natural fires, will cater for weddings, live music, sports events. Smoking area. Outside tables. Parking front and to the rear of the pub. Good selection of alcohol all at reasonable prices.
A proper village pub! No pomp or bull, just friendly staff and customers, with well priced selection on the pumps and lots of shots to choose from. Rooms: Does not offer rooms
Love this place, saved from going the same as other small pubs. Friendly landlord, the pub is like TARDIS and extends further than appears from the outside, tries to cater for families as well as the usual pub crowd. Live group and open mic evenings. Small dance floor inside. Cosy fires and the old pub is still retained. Extension on the back and to the bar. Some food available and coffee if asked for. Good bar selection and prices. Has pool table and holds TV sports events. Thriving charity collection pub, recently punters and landlord did a Johnogroats to Landsend bike run.
