Spent a night here. Host Shirley is very friendly person and has excellent driving skills. He assisted us to get our car out through narrow driveway from car park. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Kitchen had all the basic utensils. Had a very nice and pleasant stay here.
Booked with Palm cottage a month before we were supposed to go, website said we could pay on the day we go and payment will be taken out automatically on the day, checked my booking confirmation regularly to make sure there wasn’t any issues. The day we went, we traveled up from Swansea to check in at agreed time of 5:00pm only to ring the property holder to check in and say that I apparently cancelled the trip just so he could rent the place out to someone else. So we’ve been stuck in Newquay with no accommodation and a long journey back home. Do not book with these arrogant and sly property holders as they will cancel your stay and try blaming you. What a place! We were 5. The host was soo sweet. Entrance to this place is very tight. We drove Ford Mondeo there which was quite tough to get in and out. But cottage is soo lovely. Full kitchen access, one double bed, one single bed, one sofa cum bed in the living room. Fridge was loaded with skimmed milk, butter, bread, eggs. Tea bags, coffee, sugar was provided. Separate bathroom and toilet. Well maintained place.
Only posting because my friend's review has 'disappeared', as has mine on their food business. I wouldn't have actually reviewed as bad as him for this accommodation, but the fact it has vanished suggests it deserves it.Rooms: 1/5
Cancels your accommodation for no reason so be careful, and property holder was rude on the phone. Wish I couldn’t give 1 star they don’t even deserve that
