We had a very good room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Bar was very good. I can't comment on the dinner or the spa . Very good stay. We'll go again if we have the opportunity.

Fabulous place, in a slightly random location. The staff throughout the hotel are fabulous: friendly and helpful. The standard of housekeeping was high, although not all rooms seemed to have all the standard information in, the staff were happy to replace or provide this. The food in the restaurant was delicious, reasonably priced considering the standard and quality of presention. Opening hours for the small gym and pool were available in the room and towels provided when there. Look forward to staying again!

Best hotel! Loved it! Great food! Great Gin selection! Staff were fantastic I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Such good value for money (coming from London anyway). Beautiful historic building. Owners are lovely, the new management are very good. Service is brilliant. Food is good.

Staff very good at gauging how friendly or formal to be. Nice food with fish always available. Nice bar with a variety of find. Always sleep well.
