Booked in for a Sunday roast. Staff were friendly and polite. I fancied a bit of roast pork and crackling when booking, unfortunately at the carvery there was no roast pork on the menu, garden peas instead of parsnips, Yorkshire puddings which were inedible, including the gluten free variant, way too stodgy, cauliflower not fully cooked. All in all carvery not recommended.
No room just had a carvery. Service and food were excellent and at a very fair price. Will go back again before our holiday is over. Sue and Geoff
Have ate here approx 5 yrs ago. This time i stayed 2 nights. The room was nice and clean, tea and coffee + biscuits each day! Its winter so the pub was quiet. Had carvery which was still top class, only slight down side beef was a little dry...but the veg were perfect and the gravey to die for Rooms: All you need, clean tea & coffee. Hairdryer, room service each day
Went to my sisters 50th arranged family meal Had own private room. The food was lovely. And the waitress who looked after us was brilliant. She really gave us great service.
I've been going here for many years on & off. Foods, alright, they always do plenty to offer. Staff could smile a bit more and at least pretend to be happy. The decor really needs to be updated. it's like walking into a pat butchers houseService: 3/5
Didn't have a room so not rated. Meal only in restaurant. Carvery, desert and coffee was excellent. All at right Money I'd say. Parking is so easy as there is plenty of space. Food & drinks: Excellent
A lovely restaurant for a carvery in fact they also do other meals too. Worth a visit to this establishment. You won't go away disappointed. Rooms: Didn't book a room. Nearby activities: Allsorts to do and see.
Tasty, traditional carvery with lovely home made yorkshire puddings served by lovely ladies. Will definitely return.Service: 5/5
