I love this place usually but last night I had booked a table and was having an amazing time until the bouncer started being nasty to me whilst I was waiting for my mate to come out the toilet kicked me out claiming I was too drunk I wasn’t and when I tried to reason with him he threatens to drag me out by my legs!! I didn’t even argue with him and he started to threaten to drag me out!‍ so I just left it wasn’t even worth it we was only there an hour or so! Total waste of £100 it’s a shame because this place was my favourite until this happened
Went with a party of 10 for my mate’s 30s to ask what’s the entrance fee to a bald bouncer yesterday. He replied ironically 63£. Was surprised he could count that high but left straight after.
Not the Bouncer, but the man on the door taking the entrance fee took 20 pounds and insited I had handed him 5 pounds. Denied me change. Essentially robbed me of 15 pounds. A shame, because I had positive opinions of this establishment otherwise.Service: 1/5
Paid £4 entry. Drinks were double what they were in most other clubs. Atmosphere was terrible and the music was some of the worst I have listened to. Claimed was various things but was basically remixes of modern pop. Basically forced to put our coats and any other items into the cloakroom for £3 each which was the main reason we decided to leave in the end. Staff and bouncers were nice and polite.
I went to popworld and had the best experience because Shannon Marie served me, she is the most welcoming bar tender i have ever been served by. would definitely recommend coming to pop. thankyou shannon!!!Food: 5/5
