Pocklington carpets are really good, you go in let them know what your after,they'll show you some samples,then they'll come measure up then give you a date for fitting and all do it all very professionally and they are local as well.
What an experience! From walking into the shop for a 'browse' to the whole of our downstairs fitted with laminate flooring was faultless. The knowledge and patience Phil gave us was second to none. He guided and supported us as we 'tried' to explain what we wanted.Nothing was too much trouble. Pocklington carpets employ their own joiners and Haydn arrived to fit our flooring. He is a perfectionist and worked above and beyond 'just' fitting the flooring. He was clean, tidy and on time every day. He was very pleasant and trustworthy. We also asked him to plane our doors and kick boards. Thank you Pocklington carpets. We'll never go anywhere else and 100% recommend them. Mike & Helen Nelson
If you want a friendly, knowledgable carpet company to go to I cannot recommend these guys enough. The arrived when the promised and helped me find a carpet I am delighted with. The only hiccup I had with them came when I was paying, but that was equal parts me misunderstanding them then them doing anything wrong. I will be going back next time I need carpet.
Had laminate and vinyl flooring fitted from Pocklington Carpets recently. Great service - from initial visit to updates and fitting. Lovely quality flooring and the fitters were brilliant. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant, carpets look amazing. Didn't have a huge budget, but got exactly what I wanted. Carpet fitters were very professional, came on time, did a fab job, can't fault anything, definitely happy to recommend.
Don't bother buying from anyone else. After 3 bad experiences with other firms wrong size, wrong colour, wrong way around, appalling fitting that needed redoing twice I've a very low opinion of flooring companies!! Not anymore. From the first time we walked into the shop, the very friendly staff that were super knowledgeable and quickly narrowed down a huge choice based on a a few well guided questions, the service was excellent. The guys that laid the floor were very polite, friendly, clean and fitted the carpets extremely well, no fuss, no bother. I was happy to leave them to it alone in the house both days. First class service from a local company with great people, thanks guys
Having used Pocklington carpets twice we can confirm that they provide an excellent service from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable in the showroom and the advice offered has been excellent. The carpet fitters were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.
Have been buying our carpets from them for a number of years and love there service , along with the fact they are not trying to sell you the most expensive carpet but the one you need. andy is always full of good advice and gives great customer service. Often visit the shop with my son who's now 9 , and the guys just let him explore and have fun, which makes visiting the shop not a drama.

Haven't got the new carpet down yet but based on the helpful and knowledgeable attitude I am very optimistic. First impressions excellent.
