Wow what great place and experience. Definitely the biggest place I've seen by far, its geared towards guitars and drums but there's something for everyone. These guys are true professionals and the staff are so knowledgeable and are obviously musicians them selves. 10/10 visited Saturday 30th. We'll impressed.
Great selection of instruments and musical equipment. I felt like a kid in a candy store! The personal touch keeps me loyal to this place. PMT Birmingham will always beat online shopping for me because of the advice and genuine care from the staff. It was an enjoyable experience Nick and Fred were very helpful and pleasant. I went in to pick up my guitar which was fixed like brand new and picked up some new strings and a new guitar case too. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was asked if I needed any help, then a lovely and engaged conversation about music with the staff members.
My son loves this store and always goes there for his drumming supplies. The staff are always friendly and helpful. He has been playing the drums for four years now with Jason Gumbley and is currently doing his Grade 7. You can see my son playing on Instagram 'the.g.and.t.collective' also on Facebook. Best music shop in the world. Great selection of instruments. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for hours. My sons love the place too.
Fantastic home for music. I enjoyed a lot playing all premium instruments. They have all stuffs related to music. It's a wonderful store.
They're so receptive and friendly. They really know their stuff. Case in point: when I purchased my Bose S1 Pro battery busking amp. Photo of mighty pint-sized Bose amp: shown next to a classical guitar for scale. The price was low but the advice value was HIGH.
What a great place! I had a wonderful experience buying a guitar here yesterday. The sales staff aren't pushy at all, but are on hand to offer friendly, expert advice when needed. They let you take your time in finding the right instrument for you from the vast range on display - and that's exactly what I did. Very happy indeed! Thanks Jay!
Brilliant service, all the patience in the world and every question answered. Senior sales rep Jay so helpful at helping find the right instrument for me, told him what I was looking for and he told me what I’d end up buying 2 hours before I even picked it up, but still amazing at letting me try everything I fancied. Made sure I understood everything about the instrument I was purchasing before walking out with it, couldn’t have had any better service for a beginner. Completely dedicated to making sure I get the right instrument for me and never about the money. Highly recommend for any level of player other more experienced players in the store who required less assistance clearly left to try what they’d like, service very well tailored to your ability level and knowledge.
An excellent place for all your instrument needs. I had visited PMT recently to get a new set of electric drums for my son. The staff is very receptive, pleasant and has a good understanding of your needs and aspirations. I was attended to by Chris who patiently explained to us all the best options which are more enduring and suitable within our spend limits. There is sufficient parking. There are number of payment options available to spread your costs. The delivery is also quick if the product is available within the store.
We went here about a week ago. My son had his heart set on a certain guitar which isn’t made any more. I didn’t think we would find one but there was one there which we did end up buying! Jay was amazing- he was so patient with my son and let him play several guitars giving him tips and suggestions too. The guy with the drums was also excellent and again, was very helpful with my other son allowing him to try out electric drums. There are so many instruments here- it is an absolutely amazing place that just has to be visited if you love music!
