Wonderful quirky accordion shop and repair centre. We went looking for an upgrade for my son. The place is an old house beside the canal on an industrial back street and at first impressions does not look promising. On entering you find yourself in an accordion emporium - there's nothing glitzy about the place understatement - which is packed to the gunwales with accordions. The majority of these are awaiting repair or renovation but if you indicate you are interested in buying you will be taken, in time, to their sales room where there is a myriad of new and used accordions just waiting to be played. You will be listened to, offered knowledgeable advice and copious amounts of tea, and given suggestions on suitable accordions - and you will learn a lot mostly about accordions. My son had a field day, playing accordion after accordion discovering the kind of thing he liked, and the kind of thing he didn't and, over a couple of hours, narrowing his choice down to the one. OK maybe not THE one - he preferred one which was 3 times what I was willing to pay - but it was pretty close. I can't comment on the repairs - although the second hand one we bought appears to be in great condition - but we left feeling we'd bought an excellent accordion at an excellent price, that we had learned a lot, and that the experience was one we will not forget. Be prepared to take your time, be prepared for accordion clutter, and enjoy these three enthusiasts and the time in their shop.
Absolutely fantastic place! Huge collection of modern and vintage accordions to suit all tastes. Rob, Stephen, and Andrew are the loveliest people you can meet. Purchased a beautiful Borsini accordion from here and it's been a joy to play.

Excellent little gem. Excellent staff and they have facilities for gigs/events etc. Fantastic repair centre. If you have any accordions that need servicing/repairs etc, then you must give these guys your custom.

Amazing place for Accordion repairs, refurbs and sales. Friendly and knowledgeable folk. Also have small selection of other instruments and gear and host small musical gatherings. Goes without saying they have a variety of new and second hand accordions for sale of course!

Brilliant shop has everything an accordion player could ever need! Staff are friendly and attentive, identifying the issue with my accordion quickly and fixing this without issue and within the hour! The technician very kindly took the time to do some extra repairs and diagnostics. The repair costs were very fair and I was given some really useful information - always handy as a beginner! These guys are really passionate about accordions and are welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back again soon!
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My first purchase turned out not to be a good fit for me and there was no problem exchanging the accordion for something more suitable. I got a three year guarantee on a second hand accordion and a very nice cup of coffee. I would highly recommend the Accordion Centre if you need a repair or wish to buy a new instrument.
Arrived as a novice and was given excellent advice and support. I left a very satisfied customer and i still appreciate it 3 months on.
