I've been a customer of Fair Deal Music going back years. The team are always really friendly and helpful. The new store is big, spatious and packed with all the things an amateur guitarist like me needs. This year alone I have bought two guitars and a few pedals and they were even able to price match and give me their best offer on the price which is really great. I will always buy from Fair Deal Music.
Did a deal with Deb @ fair deal music online, was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Guitar was posted out next day and arrived quickly. I am very very happy with the guitar, the only criticism I would give is the detailed description wasn't accurate, It stated it to be in excellent condition however there is buckle rash all over the back, a few dings on the front and the neck has had some sanding done, looks like where the binding wasn't flush someone has gently repaired this by levelling it but it has gone through the paint. Also description said solid one piece mahogany back, this is not, its a two piece back. So description could have been more accurate but none of these things affect the guitar and it is fantastic so 5 stars anyway! Thanks guys!
Fair Deal Music is the only place to go when buying an instrument. Best prices around, and service to match. My piano was very carefully delivered and all packaging taken away. 100% recommended.
Great shop, child wanted to try some guitars. Was able to play away, whilst a very helpful member of staff advised and had all the knowledge. Great relaxed browsing experience.
Great staff and helpful service. Helped me tack down a perfect new guitar and at a great price. I came in the shop with a guitar in mind but after some comparison tests and good advice I ended up with a much better fit for my needs. And no feeling of being sold to more just matched with what I really wanted.
I saw their advertisement on the street and I walked in with my guitar. After some waiting time, the man at the till had one look at my guitar and said it is too cheap for them to buy, which is disappointing but fine to me. Then he said that “it is a cheap Chinese import and we don’t take it”. I felt offended by this sentence and I don’t understand why he thinks it is a proper thing to say in front of an Asian face. I felt that he said it on purpose.
Really good place for all things musical. I went to have a look at what Saxophones they had, and to my surprise, they had a nice selection on display and allowed me to hold one for size comparison and weight. No pushy sales men, just good advice, allowing me to make my own choices. Definitely will be going back in the next week or so to make my purchase.
Popped in today, with the intention of looking to try out some Taylor GS Mini stuff somewhere in the city. Ended up sitting down in Fairdeal for an age torn, between both a Mini-e Koa and the GT Urban Ash. Both were used, with the Mini Koa literally being part exchanged as I was in the shop. The guys were great; helped to answer questions and have a chat, helped to clean the guitar up, put on a fresh set of strings, and I'm now the happy owner of a new Taylor GS Mini-e Koa. Have bought stuff from Fairdeal before, and can definitely recommend them to all!
This place has improved over the past few years and despite the pandemic, they're able to provide a freedom of choice and a showroom that's attractive and simple to navigate. Great staff, a welcoming place to be and a great place to try new instruments, equipment and accessories.
Really helpful and knowledgable team who really go the extra mile to help out. Also they have brilliant prices on a lot of gear. Really happy with my experiences with them so far.
