We’ve used Plaza since 1996 and found them to be professional and helpful. It’s not easy to find a decent estate/letting agency but they have a "no responsibility" clause in their terms of business, which means that you have no comeback if they fail to do a job properly. Keep yourself updated about changes in the law.
Genuine and customer friendly. Their business has been built on values. I was a recent migrant to UK and they helped me find my house in the first week. Deserve for Five Star
I had an absolutely dreadful experience with this estate agent. The flat I rented had been on a rolling contract for a decade, and during that time, it received minimal maintenance, leaving it in a deplorable condition despite my constant reports of issues. To make matters worse, the ceiling actually collapsed while I was in the flat due to a severe mold issue, and their response was nothing short of appalling. Instead of addressing the problem, they had the audacity to email me, insinuating that I was somehow responsible for the collapse. As if that wasn't bad enough, the rent was increased by a staggering 12.5% last year, and this year they hit me with another 9% increase. It's clear they prioritize profit over the well-being and safety of their tenants. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this estate agent unless you enjoy living in subpar conditions and being treated with utter disrespect Reply: I appreciate your response, but I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the situation I've experienced in the flat I rented through your agency. While I understand budget constraints imposed by landlords, I find it truly baffling that a flat in such a dangerous condition would even be offered for rent. The subsidence issue in the flat is not something to be taken lightly. It is a serious safety concern which has been on going for years without any resolution until forced by the council to act. And the fact that the only solution provided was to cover the cracks with skirting board is not just unsatisfactory, but it's negligent. Now, with the cracks reappearing, it's evident that this was merely a temporary fix. My biggest question is how your agency could allow a property to deteriorate to such an extent without regular inspections or maintenance checks. It's basic due diligence to ensure the safety and habitability of the properties you manage. The lack of proactive maintenance checks is simply unacceptable. Renting out a flat in this condition not only puts tenants at risk but also tarnishes your agency's reputation. I expected a minimum level of responsibility and duty of care when renting through your agency, and this experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the well-being of others. I urge you to take immediate and comprehensive action to rectify this situation and ensure the safety of your tenants. Furthermore, I strongly encourage your agency to implement regular property inspections to prevent such issues from occurring in the future. Finally I find it interesting all these 5 star reviews have appeared on the same day.

Absolutely rubbish, increasing rent and making no improvements. How can you charge the same with inflation for a flat and never make changes in 10 years. A sofa that has been here for 15 years, broken, and never changed?? Crazy! We make so many complaints and basic requests, but are completely ignored and bipassed. Basically here to just make money and not care about tenants. Please never rent with them !! Save yourself !!
I have had totally positive experience with Plaza Estates for a number of years and I can only recommend them very highly. Lovely people too.
