Purchased my new Giulia Super 2.0 from Jim Oliphant and was absolutely delighted with the knowledge, expertise and customer service received at all stages of the purchase. Travelled all the way from Glasgow to complete the purchase and the staff couldn't have been nicer to both myself and my wife. Everything to do with the purchase was explained clearly and in detail before any signature was put to paper and Jim was always prepared to explain anything that wasn't understood first time around. Made to feel special and the big bunch of flowers presented to my wife was a nice touch. Thoroughly recommend Platt's Garage and Jim Oliphant in particular to anyone thinking of buying a new car. Buying as it should be, customer first and foremost.
Superb sales service from the Fiat Showroom. I visited the new Fiat sales showroom with my wife having visited lots of other dealers all over Stoke during the preceding two weeks. We were open to finding a suitable car for my wife and this was a spur of the moment visit. Well they could not have been more helpful. Jake and David were professional, supportive, helpful and a credit to Platts Garage. We test drove the car and my wife fell in love with it a Fiat 500 lounge and the only thing that would have stopped her buying it was the service. Thankfully it was exemplary. We added lots of gadgets and upgrades and the car was still cheaper than many we looked at and considered. The car is on order from the factory and we await its arrival with excitement. So far a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
If only there was something lower than a 1 star. My dealings with this dealership have been shocking and I would highly recommend not going anywhere near them. They are fast to take your money but completely dishonest, unresponsive and deliberately difficult to contact despite me wanting to purchase a car from them. Seems almost counter-intuitive. I was initially excited and had high hopes of buying a car from such a big brand but that expectation has been completely reversed by the actions of a few sales people who clearly don't care or hold customer expectation and brand impact in high regard. Shame, as they've lost out on me buying a car from them and any future custom.
Recently purchased a fiat 500 from here with the help from car dealer Sean Taylor. He was very helpful and took the time to explain things, kept me informed with regular updates on how the finance and such was going along. The rest of the staff were just as friendly and welcoming, I’m very happy with my car. I would definitely use them again, I I would recommend them to my friends and family. Great job!

Just a quick update to my comments 10 Months ago. I have just collected my new car from Platts. I have been been very impressed with my experience and I would highly recommend this dealership. I have read other people's reviews and I can honestly say that any problems that come along are dealt with swiftly and professionally. A massive thanks to Gary Lambert for all the help and advice provided to me.
Bought used fiat 500 at new year. Love the car but after sales service is shocking. Buying was the easy bit, getting my book pack and spare key that weren't ,for whatever reason,available when I picked the car up is proving difficult! No call backs, contact us form on website got no response and email to address on website also no response! Shame because up until then it was a smooth purchase. I was told the book pack etc would be posted out, a note was made on the paperwork however it's now been 3 months and still nothing! Come on guys it's not hard to reply to calls and messages surely
Took 2 days to book my jeep in for a service, no-one would answer the phone! Booked it in, £407 for the second service and they didn't even valet the car. would have been nice to be offered a courtesy car as well. I've had a company car for the past 20 years and this has to be the worse service I've had yet. Staff were polite and courteous. Overall a very disappointing experience, so I will contact Hitachi to find out who in Stoke on Trent is authorised to service the car. I would advise to avoid.
Brilliant. Amazing. Wonderful. I don't use these words lightly. Quite simply, my experience buying a car from Platts has been nothing but fantastic. The most fun I have ever had buying a car. Ever. And I've bought a lot of cars in my time. Why? No pushy sales, just a very knowledgeable and extremely friendly sales staff. I was dealt with by Jacob: what a star he is. I had regular updates on the progress of my car. The reams of paperwork were all explained in simple terms and Jacob made sure I understood everything. And, when the big day came ... wow! I won't spoil the surprise for you. Suffice to say, it was epic ... if you want to find out how they do the handover, go buy a car from Platts Garage. Platts take the experience of buying a car to another level! Would I recommend Platts Garage to others? Absolutely. And will I return to Platts Garage for my next car? Hell, yeah!!!
We have just purchased a used Cherokee from Platts. The whole experience has been a good one. James is a major asset to to this organisation, he is both professional and considerate. We have bought a number of cars over the years and have to say that this experience was a breath of fresh air. We would not hesitate in recommending Platts to anybody looking to buy a car. We have a second purchase to make this year and certainly will be back.
Bought a part I did not need due to poor advice, on sale or return. Tried to return but past 5 days. Agreed to a 20% restocking fee, but need to have a cheque raised. Nearly a month on and no cheque. Why could they not just refund my CC. In the market for a new 4x4, love the Grand Cherokee, but not so sure about Jeep anymore. Promised to call back but guess what.
