This garage is fully equipped and the staff know there job. It's good to be able to tell a mechanic what the problem is and they know how to fix it without them tuting and rubbing their hands together. Very reasonable with the prices aswell

Shocking garage!!! Took our Honda Civic there for an mot they said engine mount had failed did repairs turned car back on and engine management light on and car in limp mode!!! He informed me that the part to now fix it was going to be £700! Mr Newman said it was nothing he had done and 'it's a coinsidence' and it's 'just one of them things that happen', unfortunately why the car was with him. Unbelievable. When I demanded what he was going to do to help he offered to pay half of the 700 quid as a good will gesture!!! SERIOUSLY guilty and there was No way I was letting me Newman further mess with our car So,I demanded my keys back, refused to pay and drove it away! He let me drive away with no arguments again clearly guilty! Do not ever trust this garage. I went on to use auto mechanics in normacott..They are Top people at this garage I wished we had gone here from the beginning. Newmans motors have not got a clue about cars trust me please stay clear! Take your car to a garage that takes care of it.

About one month ago we acquired a converted campervan which apparently had had an MOT carried out by this particular garage. Apart from 10 advisories it passed the test. After looking deeper we find that what Newman Motors Ltd did not consider serious is in fact VERY serious!  A whole quarter of the floor does not exist, we can, in fact, see the road. Everything they said was slight is very much the reverse. Whilst we know there is no comeback for us, we feel.people should be made aware. This vehicle that we purchased should not have been allowed back on road until major repairs had been carried out. Begs the question.......??

Well priced local independent garage. Plain talking reliable garage and MOT services.  Would give him 5  but don't want him so busy that he can't fit me in
