I purchased a van from here about 6 months ago, I'm starting to realise more and more how conned I have been, the first issue was that they were trying to sell a van to me for 18k with a broken clutch, which I said I wouldn't buy until it was fixed, which they did. Second thing is they sold me the van with the side door lock being broken, and also sold me a van with broken suspension as it now bounces around all over the place. It did originally have lowered suspension on it however I asked if they would heighten it for me coil overs and instead they put old really worn suspension back on, however did not reduce the price at all for this, they kept the new coil overs that I had rightfully purchased with the van. When approached about this, he got slightly aggravated with me on the phone trying to tell me I was wrong and told him to put the old suspension back on. I've also had the Campbelt nearly snap on me as the belt was frayed but luckily I caught it before it happened, not necessarily the dealers fault but paying 18k for a 18 plate vw caddy, you would have thought they would have done that before even trying to sell it, the same with the clutch. Overall it just seems they charge big money and do the bare minimum to get a car out the door.
Bought a bmw in June 2023, had a few problems with it that were small fixes but cost around 1k to repair, in Feb 2024 after 9 months ownership the car had been in the workshop around 6 times for various concerns. I was told the timing chain was failing by 2 indy garages and would cost 2.5k to repair. Even with a 12 month warranty it still unfortunately wasn't covered. I'm not blaming baskeyfields for the issues with the car but it certainly was a headache owning it and I wish I hadn't purchased it. Giving the host of issues I had, I decided to get rid of the car which ended up costing 4k to do so which was annoying considering it was 17k to buy and only had 60k on the clock. The team at baskeyfields are friendly enough and did try to offer some help with warranty, but Im sorry to say I wouldn't buy a car from their again.
Absolutely amazing family run business that makes you feel at ease. Bought an Audi TT a week ago and what a car. Absolutely prestine and well looked after. Can't thank them all enough. Had an issue with the sensors which they sorted out straight away no problem at all. If your thinking of getting a car from these then think no more...you will not be disappointed. Thank you

I bought a Z4 from Mick and the Baskeyfield Team. From the first phone call to the after sales service I have had nothing but first class treatment. The team are knowledgeable and friendly, not looking to push you into something that’s not for you. I traded my old car as part of the deal and got an excellent price for it. The Z4 was presented in show room condition when I picked it up. Soon afterwards I experienced a problem with the roof closure. I called with trepidation having read that fixing such a problem can be expensive. I should not have worried- they took the car in and everything was sorted without any quibble whatsoever. I also had a courtesy car to use whilst the issue with the roof was being sorted! I can’t recommend these guys enough and I will definitely be returning for future car purchases. Mike, Izaak and Dave 'the test drive king' were all brilliant. Quality service from all. Great car and presented really well. Couldn't recommend enough.
