Hello, This might be the most accurate review going for this establishment, upon entry the restaurant was cold and gloomy. We ordered take out so we placed our order and waited in the truck. They told us 15 mins well after 35 the order still wasn't finished. The order was done around 45 mins. We brought our food home. The packaging is that of old school F&C food wrapped in paper. The Fish was terrible no flavor and just meh. The chips were undercooked and mushy. 5 pieces of "haddock and fries after tax $100.00 save your money east somewhere else.
Hadn't been in a few years. Love that they have lots of options in sizes senior, family etc and sides onion rings and mushrooms but the quality of the fish is not what it used to be - maybe just the oil but the taste wasn't what it was.Food: 3/5
Great value & delicious freshly made fish & chips. My 1st time visiting Classic Fish & Chips and I really enjoyed my meal. I happened to check out the Dominion Gardens Park which is located right across the Classic Fish & Chips. After the walk, I was super hungry and decided to grab some fish & chips. However, the resto was closed, but you know what? The owner saw me standing outside checking out the menu, she came out and greeted me and told me that she can still get me my meal. So I did. I ordered the Friday Special: $8.49 + tax that includes 2 pcs of white fish and chips. I checked its menu, every 2 days, they have a different fish for special. I like how they will prepare the meal fresh for every order. I enjoyed the service. The lady was very kind, courteous, asked me if I need straw for my drink, tartar sauce for my meal. I was impressed of the packaging, they taped my meal with a box and a wrapping paper. The white fish was nicely battered, golden fresh oil, it was nice and hot temperature. The chips were in hot temperature, and generous amount, however, my chips weren't crispy at all, so I don't know if it's coz I ordered late and they were closing so they just want to rush it. However, I am willing to come back and give it a 2nd try for the chips. This is an amazing place to eat in Georgetown with great value and reasonable price. I highly recommend Classic Fish & Chips. Once again! Thanks for letting me in even your resto just closed for maybe 15 mins so that I didn't get starve. If I didn't get to taste your food, I wouldn't be able to know how tasty it was! THANK YOU!
I don’t know what has happened, but the size of the fish serving is much smaller, there is less fries and the tartar sauce they sent was spoiled. Very disappointed. Clearly they have joined the ranks of other businesses that are now offering less while charging more. Not ordering from here again.Food: 2/5
Cozy atmosphere, great service and awesomely portioned food surprisingly greater than its value pricing please dont change that! Lol. The FOOD- just wow! Best haddock I've eaten in weeks and their apple fritters are soo delicious, we ordered more to bring home for my kids and they went wild. Great stuff!!

Great place to go for a quick bite! Don't know why this place doesn't have more traffic because this place has really good food! We had the Haddock fish and chips and spring rolls and everything was made fresh to order. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. The house made tartar sauce is really nice and tart! Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

The special was halibut omg yummy. She also gave me a good amount of tarter sauce I hate when you don’t get enough. I don’t use a lot of sauces but definitely need tarter for fish and chips.Food: 5/5
