Story

Pinewood Gymnastics Club is located in a purpose built facility situated in Wokingham, Berkshire, 30 miles west of London.
At Pinewood there are ample parking facilities. Ramped access to the Gymnasium is available.

Both gymnasiums are equipped with high quality apparatus. All gymnastic disciplines are catered for and specialist features include sunken trampolines, sprung competition floor areas and foam filled safety landing pits.

Pinewood Gymnastics Club has one of the finest equipped facilities in the country. It has been designed to challenge the young child in a fun and rewarding way. The award winning Kindergym programme has been featured several times on BBC'S Playdays.

All classes are charged termly.

Fees are between £5.75 and £9.00 per class plus a once a year payment for British Gymnastics membership and insurance. Kindergym and recreational children pay an annual family membership fee of £30. This is calculated on a pro-rata basis depending on at what point they joined during the year.

There is a reduction on fees of 10% for the first sibling and 15% for a second for both Kindergym and recreation children but not for squads.

Kindergym - Our Kindergym programme is designed for children from 1 year old to school age and aims to develop their balance, co-ordination, gross and fine motor skills, special awareness and body control, while learning about colours, numbers, word association and social interaction, all in a safe and fun environment.

The classes are 45 minutes long and consist of warm up games with hand apparatus and action songs, apparatus circuits to help develop their skills and to challenge the different age groups.

Classes - Club Classes
These classes are designed for young boys and girls of school age and of all abilities. They are designed to challenge each child on a variety of apparatus including floor, airtrack, vault, beam, bars and trampoline.

Children are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a safe and caring environment. The classes are limited in size and sub divided into smaller groups each with their own coach. All children have the opportunity to work towards the Pinewood Gymnastics Award Scheme of badges and certificates. All classes are led by a UKCC qualified coach.

Adult Gymnastics
Pinewood Gymnastics Club run two adult gymnastics classes each week which both cater for the beginner and those with some experience.To take part you have to be over the age of 18 and have British Gymnastics insurance cover at a cost of £15.00. All classes are £6.00 per session

Special Needs
Here at Pinewood we try our best to integrate many children with additional needs into our weekday gymnastics classes, however, in addition to this, we run 2 different types of Special Needs classes on Sundays for childred aged 6-16yrs.

We have a session for children and teenagers who attend with a parent or helper. This loosely structured class uses all our apparatus and members have the option of working towards our Award Scheme to earn Pinewood cloth badges. This class operates on a pay-as-you-go basis but all participants must hold Pinewood membership and current British Gymnastics membership (available through the club).

Trampolining for 3 years to School Age
EXCITING, FUN AND STIMULATING CLASSES TO PHYSICALLY DEVELOP THE GROWING CHILD


Our small classes are designed to allow little ones plenty of trampoline and coaching time, whilst gently developing each child’s concentration skills. The classes run for 30 minutes and contain a maximum of 4 children on 2 trampolines. This builds on the great enthusiasm of the children by reducing the time they spend waiting, and increasing the time they spend jumping! The sessions are unaccompanied, with parents able to watch their child’s progress on the TV in Reception. On the last session of each term parents will be invited into the gym so the children can show off what they have learnt.
