Excellent Gym. I believe you have to be a member of the Spa to be able to join this gym too - but stand to be corrected on that. Has a coupe of cardio areas as well as women only area. Weights machines as well as a separate room dedicated to weights. Badminton court. Classes. Swimming pool. Cafe. Physiotherapy too.
Very nice, tidy and quite big gym. Generally overcrowded on Mondays but how the week goes there are less and less visitors. I like facilities. Staff is lovely. Big range of classes. What I don't like is too much chlorine in the swimming pool, people not using towels in sauna and that most of sauna users do not have a shower after using sauna but they go straight into the swimming pool. It is disgusting.
Brilliant facilities but if all you want is Gym at 115 per month the owners are having a laugh and unless you use the spa they do not want your custom. Good locker rooms and facilities but hardly any keys to lockers. In last quarter as they got rid of gym members the keyswere very hard to find and not heped by staff taking keys home. Used to be a top gym but owners more interested in building a hotel. Not really great people to do business with
I love this gym. The exercise area is large and very well equipped. I love the buzz when there are lots of folk working out. The pool is warm and good for relaxing muscles after gym treadmill work. The steam room is also the most peaceful place on Earth. Afterwards I have a coffee in the spacious cafe.
I was a gym member of Pulse-8 for about 18 months and I loved every minute of it. The gym equipment is state of art and the classes are fun and effective. The instructors are dedicated and I made some fantastic friends as well. And last but definitely not the least, I was super-fit and positive throughout the day, thanks to the amazing workout. Their membership options are good too though they seem a bit pricey to competitors, it was worth every penny. The only reason I left was because we had to move to another country. I would highly recommend it to all, specially the Step-bum-tum, body combat and body attack classes.
Best gym i have ever visited. It has everything you can possibly want including a large sauna and steamroom and a pool. It is nembers only which makes it a bit more exclusive too. The only downside and hence only 4 stars is that in peak times it is difficult to find a parking space and that pool hours are restricted due to kids and other activities the pool is used for. It would be great if it was an adults only facility.
This was my gym and I really enjoyed it, until in March 2019 they said to all members that we had to switch from paying in some cases £27 a month to £114 a month or you'll have to leave in December 2019 ... They even said they were turning the water jets off and lowering the temperature of the pool ! ... I voted with my feet and switched to the far superior in my opinion Arc Gym
Great facilities with plenty of choice in equipment, classes and activities to choose from. All the equipment is well maintained and the site and facilities are spotless. It's a comfortable feel to the place with people of all ages and fitness levels using it. They also organise activities for kids into the timetable during the school holidays which are popular.
Before moved to Winnesh , I have been going gym for nearly 10 year in London. During the time of living in London, I have had mix experience in many gyms. However, I must say my experience at Pulse 8 is exceptional and it stands best. Good equipment, energetic environment and excellent trainers makes this gym great. Tina's spinning class and Jane's body attack class are the best group class, which I can't afford to miss.
A very good gym. Lots of different machines, a small heated pool that seems more threrapeutic than swimming, sauna and steam room. Lots of classes as well. A great place to keep fit. There is a separate women's gym & locker room upstairs. The l downstairs ladies locker room is full of children after school it's part of their give back to the community programme. Learn to swim, Ballet, etc What is is lacking is a lap pool
