Stayed August 2017. - Pod Brilliant site - not sure where to start! Owners are probably the main attraction, - so helpful and a font of local knowledge. Followed up all Bob's suggestions never disappointed. Intended going camping but took a Pod instead due to uncertainty of weather. Norma said they were in micro-climate, - think she was right, -weather wonderful. Pod small and very basic but great fun - (stayed a week) - hint -take an 'anglers' tent to put your 'stuff' in. Toilets etc luxurious and spotless. Fire pits available, - great fun. Walks and cycling (big hill up at start tho but worth it for views). Lots of tracks through hills and round waterfalls, mostly with pubs to call in at. Good public transport, great pubs and restaurants. Lots to see in Rochdale and in he lovely surrounding towns. Bob and Norma will keep you right! (sorry for being so late with the review!)

Walk the pups there three times a week....brilliant, they like a swim and a run. About 4 miles round trip or 6 if you do Blackstone Edge as well. Hand.

Lovely camping close to Manchester. Best for motorhomes or small tents. We stayed for 1 night in a small tent. The tent pitch was a dream, directly between two little waterfalls. Facilities were good and the price was very friendly. We rented a little fire place for the evening for just a few pounds. Owners are very nice. Highly recommend this campsite.

Not a bad little site but you are down in a dip so not much signal for tv or even a radio. Phone has no signal either. Quite expensive for this time of year as well. Didnt use the facilities so i cant comment on them.
