Don't waste your Money.nnI checked myself in here for my birthday, to kick start my hiking journey. The location is great, lots of easy hiking places nearby and lots of takeaways about.nnThe room... As soon as I walked in all I could smell was damp. The window was already open, which I'm guessing was to mask the smell. It was damp and musty. The heating didn't work. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. They request you close the door when you shower, but because the fan doesn't work everything in the bathroom gets soaked with steam. I'm no expert but I'd guess that's why the room is damp.nI was on the ground floor so whenever someone walked above, the light fitting rattled, with a clinking sound. 5am wake up call for free!nI booked this going off the pictures online, wish I read the reviews first.nNo one is on the desk when checking out to speak to.nI would not recommend staying here
The room itself was fine. Standard what you would expect from a Premiere Inn. But the joining pub John Milne was awful. The seats and couches were disgusting the smell was damp and musty it was vilenThe breakfast was cold and horrible. Really did not enjoy it at all. Such a shame because the staff in the hotel were lovely and the room was fine. But the pub next door was terrible
Stayed here a few times for business. Very friendly staff and great service. The bar/ restaurant has decent pub grub! Premier inn beds comfy as always!
Great location for trams. Really friendly staff. Rooms fine, clean. Didn’t have breakfast but steak and gammon for dinner was lovely.
Room was immaculate. Bed was wonderfully made and sooo comfy!nKnocked a star off as the corridor can be quite nosey with people walking yo and down. 200% recommend.
