I have been to almost every shop that sells vinyl records in Manchester and Kingbee Records is by far one of the best, if not the best shop in Manchester. A great collection of rare items, as well as beautiful condition copies of the usual suspects. Fair prices and a great owner willing to help you look for anything you're after. Besides finding an album I had been looking for for years, he had some items I didn't even know existed and bought a few. Great shop, well worth paying a visit.

It's a great place to browse. Full of collectables, regardless of genre preferences. The shop is owned and run by Les, whose knowledge of all things music is second to none. Hell of a nice guy, always up for a music related chat. Prices are fair across the board. One could easily spend a couple of hours here and not realise it's gone. My personal favourite record store in the North West.

Brilliant place.   Got a rare Dr Feelgood box set in a cigarette-style box and a nice Saints CD package of early material.

Legendary shop. I could spend hours in here. You can find records here for cheaper than Discogs prices, and the CDs are ridiculously cheap. Don’t miss the boxes underneath the racks - it’s where some of the best stuff is. Only slight quibble is that some of the rarest stuff that’s listed in the website is hidden away, but you can always ask to have a look at what else they’ve got in.

I've walked past hundreds of times and never thought to go in - found a bunch of CDs in its easy to navigate and we'll curated shelves. Lots of vinyl too

I’ve been to Kingbee 3 times in the last few months each time I’ve found good new and used records at very competitive prices parking nearby is usually easy and after each visit I’ve gone in closer to the centre of manchester to watch a band play live - I’m from 100+ miles away and visited lists of record shops in Manchester buy Kingbee records is #1 in my book
