One of the most fantastic roast Dinners we have ever had! Lovely staff, beautiful bar, a lovely place to unwind on a lazy, sunny, Sunday afternoon! Thanks again guys, we will be back for more cheese sauce!!
Stopped at this pub after a walk, the food was amazing best Taco's I've ever had. This pub is owned by the same people who have the Rising Sun in Truro and you can tell. Will definitely visit again
Great food, dog friendly, Abby served us two nights in a row and had a soft spot for our Rex. Highly recommend, will come again in our return.
Lovely manageress working v hard! Proper locals pub with great food and drinks. Very welcoming, great find away from the standard tourist fare of the coast.
Recently taken over 7 weeks ago, Bar staff were warm and friendly as was the service. Food was very filling and nice . Basic pub grub for now hopefully change later on look forward to it .
New owners. Nice pub and friendly staff. Good car park and good views down to Newquay over rolling Cornish countryside
This was advertised as the best carvery in Cornwall, the pub itself is a quaint building in a small village, and again you need to pre-book. I had a beef dinner, and my family all had turkey dinners, it was served in dishes, and 1st impressions didn't look very much. I like my beef to be cooked through, but this was served pink in the middle, and I covered it in gravy. The vegetables and roast potatoes were nice, and in the end I did like what I had, but it was not a meal that I would have again.
Lovely find, nothing too much trouble, all our meals were delicious, highly recommend the onion rings. Thanks Abby and team. x
Loved this charming village pub - absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Only stayed for a quick drink but will visit again to try the food!
Great pub, a must if your visiting Cornwall & have a walk round the village too its beautiful
