Seafront spoons. Free WiFi as usual.. They use a red/green card system. Green side up on your table and you want to order a drink, red side up and you"re fine. They took my order quickly. It was very busy inside as it was raining cats and dogs. I had a pint for 2.15, very cheap.
I'm a great fan of Weatherspoon pubs and have frequented several places along the south coast over the last month. Never have I been so disappointed as I have with the Towan Blystra. Issues with food and drinks supply, not much available on the food menu and constantly running out of beers. Not very good on the whole.
Table wasn't cleaned, ordered the burger meal and the burger was dry, it took a long time to get our food, most meals were out of stock, prices were far higher than usual. I've been in far better. We only ate here because after a 250 mile journey it was the easiest option for a Friday night.
Food was cold. Toilets were clean. Again venue was like most weatherspoons a little worn as they are a popular venue
Called in late afternoon for a bite to eat and a drink. We decided to order the wrap and a pint which were served quickly. Unfortunately the tables and seating didn't feel particularly clean and the tables were sticky. Could've done with someone going around and wiping tables whilst clearing plates and glasses really.
It's a Good Place to have a Drink and Food, plus the Food is good enough to fill you up!
Many of the tables not clean. Que at the bar- massive beer spilage on the bar infront of the till. Limited menu apparently due to staff shortage. We always love a Weatherspoon on our travels but this was awful. We walked out .........
Could have done a lot more business if they had cleared the tables. Can't fault the food and drink for the price though.
