Not been in here for some time. Great transformation Michelle the landlady has done a great job. The Carvery on Wednesdays and Sundays are busy. Booking recommended. Good selection of ales and very friendly staff. Worth a visit.
Lovely friendly welcoming staff! Food is lovely, especially the Sunday Roast! Grace is an amazing waitress and makes us feel very welcome! Always in there on our visits now our parents have moved to Cornwall! Highly recommend! xx
We had a meal on Saturday, food absolutely fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Service with a smile and friendly. Michelle and Lee have a great team working with them. Well worth a visit, really warm welcome, highly recommend.

Just been for Christmas dinner and everything was excellent, service was spot on and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Can't recommend it enough. Value for money and service with a smile!!!!
What an improvement.went to the carvery about 3 years ago and it was pants. My mate persuaded me to go again as it had changed around and now the carvery is awesome, the beefwhich I don't normally eat melts in the mouth, everything else is top notch as well.
The best carvery ever, 3 meats beef, pork and gammon and lots of it! Everything was so tasty, would come back tomorrow but carvery only served Wednesday and Sundays. Great value.
Stumbled across this pub en route from browsing round Newquay looking for a place to eat. Well worth the visit, food was great, didn't take long and service was great. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and even has a pool table in a seperate area. Ample parking on opposite side of the road too...well worth a visit :
Very nice meal. Nice establishment and nice staff. Was fairly quiet and lots of space inside. We had the carvery on the Wednesday.
