The first time I visited with my 6yr old Greyhound I was greatly impressed. However, on our 2nd visit we were kept waiting 30 miss, then Abbie had a quick look over and her blood taken. I was then told we would be, possibly, another 30mins. They seemed to have taken on lots of dogs. I left and organised to return to another session. Later in the afternoon I was informed Abbie was anaemic and I should have her checked at my vets. This was Saturday. On Monday after 5 different types of blood tests, at the price of £250 at my vets, I was informed she wasn't anaemic! We will check Abbie again in a few weeks. An expensive, worrying trip to the Blood Bank! As I said, my first visit was organised well, the staff were considerate to Abbie. Efficient and compassionate to Abbie's needs. Thankfully, ex-track greyhounds are used to being handled. I'm left wondering about a 3rd visit! In the photo Abbie is between my other two, 12 and 9 yr old greyhounds.
Brilliant charity. Very caring about our dogs, I think they do fantastic work and are well worthy of support.
The staff at the pet blood bank are fantastic, they really do care for their donor dogs , we get an amazingly warm welcome everytime Morgan goes to donate.
I took my greyhound, Billy, to give blood a couple of months ago. All the staff were brilliant. I was a bit anxious because I didn't know what to expect but they were very kind and helpful and reassuring. The donation centre was bright and clean and friendly and well organised. Billy absolutely loved it, he was throughly spoiled with treats and affection from everyone. It was clear that every member of staff is a true animal lover. Billy was first examined and blood taken to make sure he was healthy and suitable to donate, which he was. It was good for me too to know Billy was in good condition with no underlying health issues. After his initial examination, we went into another room where Billy was lifted, extremely carefully, onto the vets table, which had 2 thick memory foam mattresses on it to ensure his comfort. I think he would have stayed there all day if he could. After donating blood, we waited for about 10 minutes to make sure Billy was OK and then we could leave, along with lots of goodies for Billy. Will definitely take Billy again. I feel its such a worthwhile thing to do with no downside
This charity saved my dogs life 2 days ago. Thank you so much to the donor and the person that drove all the way to West Sussex to deliver the blood
Amazing charity! The staff are all so lovely. They treat the dogs like royalty and handle them so well! My dog absolutely loves going and is always so proud of himself after! He especially loves the dog food and toy they give him after! More owners should take their dogs to donate!

It’s on the first floor of the building and 3rd door on left when you come out of the lifts.
Really great operation and very professional in every aspect. Great cause and treated my dog with expertise. Very happy to recommend.
Many thanks for the wonderful work that you do, without the plasma infusion my pet had at the weekend, he would have been very poorly indeed.
