The worst banking experience ever. I am a Santander costumer over 8 years and this is the first time I needed help in a branch. One of the staff told me I should wait and someone would help, and then he disappeared. I waited a long time, and asked another member what to do. Basically I am told to wait. It was ok if I was told they cannot help but the only thing they say wait. Not helpful at all. Different staff was saying different things. I will definitely change my bank!!!!!
Absolutely disgusting, one member of counter staff and atm not working again to pay in , my last visit I was in the queue for 40 minutes , no staff ever !
Santander is a great bank but remember only open 9.30 am - 15.00 pm GMT except Saturday when it opens 9.30 am - 12.30 pm GMT . Closed on Sundays .
I popped into this branch at lunchtime. It was quite busy but I was served quite quickly. They do have machines where you can do some of the services if you don't want to queue. Personally I always like to see a member of staff. I found the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend a visit.
Santander bank cards dont work well, pin they gave worked at the counter but not at the atm, showed it as invalid though it was accepted at the counters, one pin wasnt even sent out. Spent 2 hours and ended up with having to send new pins for both cards which estimated to take 7 days. Really bad first week experience in the uk. Their system lacks credibility. Not really the staffs fault, they couldnt do much about it.
Leanne & Hemmi today were absolutely fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better service, Hemmi even staying late to finalise what we needed to do. Very rarely that you have an enjoyable trip to the bank, today was a very different experience. Thank you both so much. X
Please note the branch shuts at 3pm so between 3pm and 5pm the staff are on the phone helping local customers…. Just ring the national number and you will get to the local Branch ….. excellent service and help from the manager Greg Maddy
You are told to put your card into a reader at the counter, then your transactions are processed, after which comes the financial services push, it can be frustrating waiting for them to release your card when you're in a hurry.
Very helpful counter staff who delved deep to solve my Query.. Mo?
Really annoying that they close at 3.
