Very dirty place selling the same rusty cages from ten years ago,over priced .. But I've had two superb conures from there 2 years ago
The shop itself had so many tanks that I've never seen before! It was let down by the lack of parking, the graffiti on the outside and what felt like a building site in and outside. It's a pity because the shop is well stocked.
the dog of the person who takes care of the fish should be tied up or not brought to the workplace anymore, the dog is sick plus it has a skin infection. Plus the person who take care of the fish his been given me a bd tips about fish. Also he’s so rude, I had to wait 15 minutes just to give a few plants…
Loved this place, it was huge and plenty of variety and stock including live stock, such a shame to lose this pet shop, it's been running for over 25+ years and started as a small shop that expanded to what it was, it closed its doors for the last time 2 weeks ago, best of luck for the future to all the employees and to the bosses.
Very rude almost aggressive staff downstairs in the fish bit. The whole place STINKS of damp and mold. Most products have dust on them. All animals look poorly and depressed. Don't support this place. Don't go here - feel like I've shaved 10 years of my own life in this animal graveyard.
Very knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, wide range of products. I bought almost everything in my aquarium from this shop
Please don't visit this shop. Extremely unsanitary shop, found dog poo on the floor. Very bad smell as soon as you walk into the shop. Staff look like they're waiting around to die, as are the fish. Seems like a very unhealthy place, I couldn't leave quick enough
Good pet store but not as good as at York Road. This one seems to have it's great days behind them. Still nice selection of birds and tropical fish, not so much in saltwater and animal food. Place worth visiting.
Surprised that people still buy from here seeing how neglected the animals and the building is. It is known as Dying World for a reason.
animals aren’t being cared for, especially the aquatic life, this is how they were keeping the frogs. The frozen food drawers smell like rotten flesh so obviously aren’t being stored properly. They were also hiring a while back and a friend called to ask about the job which they replied that they were paying £50 for a full day 8 hour shift. my friend let them know this is below minimum wage and therefore illegal but they didn’t care just stated ‘well that’s how much we’re offering’
