Been there often, there is a guy there willing to walk with me to explain abt the fishes and advice which fishes can mix with it. I'm going back in a week after the 4 ft fish tank settled. Need better price labels in place for loose items.
My experience of this store, based on giving them a number of chances, is that it is full of a great amount of choice which is not backed up with good customer service. The staff are not very friendly or approachable, and the lady with the Shortish bobbed hairstyle is quite snooty. The last two times I have bought something my 'thank you' and 'bye' have not been returned. In fact the lady didnt even make eye contact after the initial passing my purchase to her. Even my daughter commented on how moody she was. If you were to make eye contact and crack a smile your footfall might even increase! Try it!!
Great pet shop, with a wonderful selection of fish, birds, reptiles and furry pets, not to mention the great selection of supplies for pets of all shapes and sizes, ranging from food, beds/bedding, toys and much, much more. All in all an excellent place for all things pet, with wonderfully helpful, friendly and efficient staff, providing an A+ service.
Very expensive pet shop and your watched making every move . If u want help from a member of staff you will find them all gathered around the cctv monitor. U feel like a criminal as soon as u walk in . Last time i did call in i had to tell the miserable lady giving me the evils i aint from Homewood and u can relax im only calling in to buy my pets some food , and i kid u not she hist at me and started foaming at the mouth . I highly recommend getting some doormen or infact a even better idea just move the store to a more friendly area where customers smell of rose,s and butterflys fly out of the wallets cause until that happens your all going to be miserable gits
Have just bought my 7yr old daughter a tropical fish tank for her bedroom. The gentleman who we dealt with was absolutely amazing, he was helpful, knowledgeable and so sincerely polite. I can’t comment on other sections of this business, but if you’re in Bradford and you’re looking for an aquarium for the 1st time, I would highly recommend Pet City. Thank you so much for all your help and assistance, you were brilliant.
Got some good priced items for pets. I would like to see more options for cats as you see a bigger section for fish and dogs but overall it is a good alternative to pets at home
Lots and lots of fish to choose from. The huge store has lots to choose from. The staff there are nice and are willing to help you by answering any pet related questions you may have. They have their own coral growing in some large tanks... not seen that before but it was so beautiful with tropical fish swimming in the tank with the coral too.
Very helpful staff over the phone checking product availability before I had to travel there to purchase a large stronge leather dog collar
