Great food great service car park opposite - best mushy peas I've had in years.

Nothing special and the 'large' cod I ordered was small, covered in chips. Packaging looks pretty that's about it.

This is easily the best fish and chip takeaway place of the decade I have been to. They should really open a restaurant as, unfortunately, it is just a takeaway. But do not let it spoil it for you, there are benches to sit on within 1-3 minute walk. The fish was perfect, the batter was perfect, the chips and peas were perfect, the potions were the right size, not too big, not too small,  even the boxes, it all came in, were perfect! The kids meals came as a deal with a drink and some toys and stickers (the all important stuff for the kids:) If I ever am in the vicinity, I swear I will not visit another fish and chip shop!:) oh, yes, and the stuff were very accommodating and helpful too. If I could give this place six stars I would, just for the quality of the food.

By far the best fish and chips I've ever had. Delicious homemade sauces (I suggest you get all three). Love the fact that you can see which boat caught which fish that day on the black boards, the potato type that's being hand cut that day in the shop, too. Super clean and very friendly. Car park opposite for all the out-of-towners who travel to get their fish fix from this amazing place. Really impressed.
