Excellent hotel! I think we have stayed here probably half a dozen times now and would highly recommend. The staff are very, very pleasant and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are very, very clean and well thought out, especially the new rooms, but the older rooms with the four poster beds are equally as good and really give a sense of what the place is about. The food is very tasty, served piping hot. Won't be long before we are back!

Lovely old world Inn with lots of history and probably ghosts too! Food is good. Had Christmas dinner there. Was a real treat. Good service and food selection. Nice gift shops with interesting pieces of tourist products to buy. Lots for the kids too! Gets a tad busy when the tourist season starts.

Had delicious homemade tomato soup with homemade bread when we stopped for lunch. Great addition of a farm shop since I was last there years ago. All staff were lovely. Might go back for one of their murder, mystery events.

I just love this place. The history, the fables, the buildings and atmosphere. Staff are great. The farm shop is outstanding and I can never leave without going in the gift shop. They do ghost hunts and murder mystery dinners. You couldn't get a better location for these events. This is somewhere I'll always go back to.

The owner must be very proud of all his tremendous staff, from his General Manager to his bar staff. Everybody must be happy in their work as all smiled and greeted you to an Excellent standard. The food we had was amazing ... nothing seemed to much for anyone. The bar staff even attended to the wondrous fire..(.Twice in our visit). We will most definitely return ...next time with our pooch ... Thank you for such a pleasant visit.
