Story

Pattinson estate agents was launched by Keith Pattinson on 4th July 1977, it is no coincidence that it was Independence Day, being independent is central to our company ethos. 21 Ridley Place, Newcastle upon Tyne was our first office and remains our Head Office today.
We have grown from one office with one man selling three properties to twenty nine offices across the North East with around 200 members of staff. We don’t just sell houses we also have Commercial, Survey, Property Management and Auction Departments and are proud to be members of the RICS.

I felt so sad having to sell my home after 20 years with only 2 years left on my mortgage. I just could not afford to live there on my own anymore, was heart breaking. I choose a company Sprinkbok properties and agreed a price of £57,000 as the house needs work doing to it. Everything was going ahead and all paperwork completed, when i got a phone call at the last minute saying 'Due to the slump in house prices they could only offer £45,000. OMG . Well you Guessed it, i contacted Pattinsons who came to see me 2 days later. Susan Stewart was just amazing, said she could get alot more than what they had offered, and asked if i was willing to take it to Auction. Pattinsons were working so hard for me, doing viewings and sorting all the legal things for me, also keeping me informed. When the day of Auction came i was so surprised at the Sold price £72,000. I rented online with Pattinson and although this option was helpful they failed to report damp and mould in the flat as well as the general cleanness was below modest expectations nothing on the viewing video or in the inventory check list. Also was verbally reassured by the agent that the flat was well looked after.

Keri was brilliant! She helped me every step of the way and made buying my first home a less stressful experience. Thanks again Keri!

I called upon  Pattinson, Gosforth to sell my 2 Bedroom Semi in Cramlington back in October 2021 . From my first dealings with Sharon I could tell that I had made the right decision.   The property sold within a couple of days and her drive and determination helped in pushing the sale through, overcoming many hurdles along the way.  A huge thank you to Meg as well who was doing a great job assisting me at every point and responding to calls and emails promptly. Due to unforeseen circumstances the house sale fell through and Sharon advised I go to auction.  This proved to be the best advice as the property sold and completed within 28 days getting £6k over the asking price Thank you Sharon and the team at Gosforth.

Special thank to my hero Meg!  When the first sale was not successful, I could only believe her for the next journey. Finally the process ended up with the great result, and I couldn't be better. She has always responded my emails and calls, trying to figure out the all enquiries. I could guarantee that any client with her would experience a pleasant journey even if the house sale process is not easy. And I would also thank to Keri, Sharon and Natalie for offering me the latest update and kind suggestion and advice to figure out any issue.  Thank you all & Take care
