Shopping in your local butchers should be an experience. We source and sell the highest quality produce and take pride in the fact that our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to answer any questions you could possibly have about meat and how to cook it.
There are so many different cuts of meat to ask for and with most of our meat arriving on the bone, our skilled butchers break it down on the blocks in the shop, usually in front of the customers, allowing you to see the art of butchery firsthand and take the opportunity to chat about the meat itself while it is being prepared.
We hang and dry age our prime beef and lamb the traditional way, on the bone for a minimum of 28 days, resulting in a succulent depth of flavour.
All of our meat is supplied from farmers who must reach our high standards of sourcing. We stock meat from suppliers who advocate natural rearing methods without the use of intensive farming or growth hormones and additives. Our suppliers uphold the highest standards of animal welfare and follow our philosophy that a happy, stress free life follows from farm to plate.
Our shops also stock a vast array of artisan condiments, sauces and accompaniments as well as fresh vegetables, dairy and charcuterie. If it is a more unusual meat or speciality cut that you require, please let us know so we can source and order that in for you.
