Danny Lidgate is the fifth generation of his family to run this150 year old business. He personally selects organic and grass-fed beef, lamb and pork from selected free range and organic farms and estates.

Story

Lidgate’s family butcher’s has five generations of knowledge behind the counter of its famous shop in Holland Park, west London. Chefs, dedicated carnivores and the locals of this foodie neighbourhood come here for anything from a lunchtime sausage roll to a magnificent rib of grass-fed beef for a dinner party. Meat is a treat and they all come here for the best.

We are now serving the local community in Surrey! Visit our butchers at Crockford Bridge Farm, where you'll find a great range of organic produce home-grown on the farm. Your one-stop-shop for all things food!

Great selection and quality and lovely, very helpful people. Helped me figure out that lamb back strap is called a lamb canon here, and it's the first time I've been able to get that cut since leaving Australia.
Genuinely fantastic food. Fresh meat , pies, cheese and deserts as well. With that they have a crackers, biscuits , preserves and eggs. Service is a bit hectic in the current environment however. Very reasonably priced for the quality you get.
Even if i had to wait for 20-30 min in a queue, steak i got there was absolutely worth that! Amazing. Defenatly going back.
They have a wide range of products. The service is nice and the prices are reasonable for the area Holland Park. My husband and me will definitely continue shopping here. Thank you for a great service.
Very good quality meat a bit pricey but worthy it
Bought 4 sausage rolls and some walnut mince pies...yummy. Prices are reasonable but the thing to remember is all the food is fresh. We lived in Norland Square 16 years ago so I found myself at Lidgates every other day.
